Oh, this makes me so mad. If he was that angry at her, why didn't he just leave? And those two little girls are probably still looking for Mommy. May they be surrounded by the love from their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

I sure hope Danica's family files a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of Danica's two young daughters.

A Fayetteville, North Carolina, man was charged with killing his girlfriend, whose body was found near Woodlawn Cemetery just outside Joliet in November.

Deiontae S. McMillian, 24, was charged with murder Wednesday. He previously had been charged with concealment of a homicide in connection with the death of Danica Ford, 22, of Concord, North Carolina.

A North Carolina man has been indicted on three counts of First-Degree Murder in the death of a North Carolina woman whose body was found in a shallow grave in Joliet Twp. in Nov. 2018.

According to the Will County Sheriff's Offfice, 24-year-old Deiontae McMillian of Fayetteville, North Carolina was indicted on the charges on Wednesday.

Sheriff's deputies arrived on scene near Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet on Nov. 12, 2018 regarding a deceased person.

A memorial tattoo observed on Ford's leg assisted detectives in positively identifying Ford and aided them in the investigation.

Detectives believe that McMillian and Ford began having domestic problems when he ultimately killed her, burned her body to destroy evidence and discarded her body in the woods.
WSPY reported in Nov. of 2018 that McMillian was charged with Concealment of a Homicidal Death in connection with the strangulation of 22-year-old Danica Ford of Concord, North Carolina.

Officials also believe the homicide was not committed in Will County but rather the body was discarded.

Detectives spent hundreds of hours tracking McMillian from the Joliet area into Cook County and eventually back to North Carolina.

McMillian was extradited and booked into the Will County Jail on Dec. 6, 2018, where he is being held on $2 million.
