The property included an indoor swimming pool and tennis court. Percy's wife, Loraine, recalled that the family hosted an open house for the neighbors every Sunday.
"Anyone could come," she said. "We put out a buffet. On Thursday nights, we had a round robin tennis game."
Ok, that's the part that confuses me. If the dagger part was sharp enough to inflict 11 stab wounds to her chest, face, neck, etc. wouldn't the blade be too sharp to grasp and to bludgeon?
Justice soon for Valerie and her family!!

Closer!!I still question if an outfit like Parabon Nanolabs could take any biological samples, in this case maybe blood, and test, obtain DNA then solve this case.
Indeed, indeed. Both can be true.JMO, if the police ever released the investigation files on Valerie's murder, someone would solve it. If there's DNA evidence, it would be solved relatively quickly.

I could understand if Valerie’s family wanted to keep the investigation under wraps to avoid lurid publicity, etc. But these days DNA developments in solving cold cases have been very successful. Unless there is no potential DNA from the killer in the evidence, LE should consider reopening the case.Maybe. I have always thought that there were reasons that this was not pushed.
Open and active. My conjecture is this gets solved this year, it’s close.I could understand if Valerie’s family wanted to keep the investigation under wraps to avoid lurid publicity, etc. But these days DNA developments in solving cold cases have been very successful.
