That Ted K. killed Valerie is an interesting theory. I believe his name has been mentioned in this case before. So, if he did it, did he break into Percy's house because Percy had young attractive daughters who were targets or because Percy himself was the target? The prior attack in Evanston, if I recall, six miles from the Percy residence, does seem to have been very similar to Valerie's attack. A young woman was the victim. Her family's house, however, was quite modest. I doubt her father was a successful industrialist or big shot. The attack in Winnetka, exactly a mile west and 24 hours prior to the Percy attack, which was said by investigators to have been linked to the Percy killing for a number of reasons, was the home of a plastic surgeon. Wealthy? Yes. A "big shot?" perhaps, but not in the industrialist, and/or political mover and shaker sense. He had daughters, one of whom contributes to this thread. But the intruder at her house broke into a room off of the Parent's bedroom, not the kids' rooms.
