Interesting choice of scapegoat, honestly! It's not impossible that some prison guards might be the Nordic flavor of white supremacists, and it's not impossible that a known pagan would have known the girls through his son, and it's not impossible that human sacrifice might be considered even in modern worship of Odin but good golly miss molly, if that's all connected to this case and each other, I'll eat my hat.

JMO etc

Ah the missing link…..that’s really stretching it IMO!

“…..The defense claims the group had motive to kill the girls because one of their parents was dating a person of another race…..”

Okay, I perhaps am looking for fault, but what lawyer capitalizes the words "wife" and "attorney" or puts comma outside of quotation marks as in the above excerpt?

I know, I know, people will say these are minor mistakes, but an educated person with experience in formal writing doesn't make them.

If the doc is legit, I'm unimpressed.

The same attorney that wrote RA's first Press Release on a plain sheet of white paper with Press Release typed on it. :p

No official letterhead, nothing. Just that their buddy "Rick" (even back then they referred to him that way) could not be guilty of such a heinous crime.

The tedious step by step description of redressing a body broke any believability to me. The person who wrote this out has likely never dressed a sleeping child. The wrote it as if a nurse was dressing a bariatric coma patient that couldn't be sat up, not a teenager that they had already murdered and don't have to worry about maintaining airways...

I agree, the far too much unnecessary detail gives this away as not being authentic IMO. It’s as if an entire group of young students collectively put together the 136 pages, each showcasing their warped creative writing talents (sad).

I really expected the defense team to at least lay the crime at RL's feet since he's dead and can't defend himself. Why name 5 people who can defend themselves? I honestly didn't make it through the entire document, but after reading that BH was main suspect by defense then reading his alibi I gave up on it making any sense.

Edit: Also the document referred to the "F" painted in Libby's blood on the tree, and alleged that no one knew about it. Yet I read about it years ago on Reddit. So clearly enough details of the crime scene were leaked for the community to know details.

And I'd say how would these people know that the girls were going to be there there that day to find them and do this? It's all so far fetched. I pray for the girls families. This has went on long enough to now have the defense doing this.

Just read "the document" and I honestly felt my head spinning for a bit, but a few things...
I noticed some poor grammar
I could not fathom that the prison or even the lawyer would allow for their meetings with clients to be videotaped by hand held camera's the guards used
I find it hard to believe guards would be able to wear patches of their choosing on their uniforms
and a bunch of other stuff I just can't right now....

I really feel for the girls families as well. I can’t even imagine how hurtful it much be, dealing with the loss of a beloved family member, two young lives stolen away in a real life tragedy, while others out there see it as an opportunity to turn it into a form of entertainment and media sensationalism.

Can confirm. Also read about this on Reddit years ago. I think someone has taken a lot of popular rumours from various social media sites and compiled them into one outrageous conspiracy theory.

Right? The patches was bananas to me!

Oh, and the moon was in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars*

This barrel of horse poop is all that the defense can offer up to try and create reasonable doubt. Ain’t gonna work.
Those that love the memory of these precious children need to demand dignity for them during this trial. Do not let the hyenas murder them twice with this trial.

*10 points if you remember the reference. ;)

Amateur opinion and speculation

The one I read just had it typed in the top right corner no seal that I saw:

Filed: 9/18/2023 2:06 AM Carroll Circuit Court Carroll County, Indiana
Right? I'd like to know why no one has (that I am as yet aware of) interviewed the defense counsel regarding this document and the wild assertions within it?? No quote from them to affirm they filed this at a minimum, even if they're under a gag order to discuss the actual case???

Yes this has become a s*** show because of social media. Look at the damage it’s done in the community and there is no accountability for the lies and misinformation that’s out there.

When you think of what horrors these girls went though and then look at how tik tokers and YouTube have used it as a source of entertainment and money making its sickening.

By the looks of it the trial won’t be any better IMO

Maybe I'm reaching but this paragraph in the document just struck me as odd, maybe it's just the way it was written. But the bolded part seems like it should read "when SC observed a man walking down 300 North." It almost seems like they admit that she did indeed see RA walking down 300 North instead of wording it to indicate that she couldn't have seen RA.

I changed her name to her initials.

"If what Liggett wrote in his affidavit were true, then Richard Allen’s black Ford Focus would have been parked in the CPS lot from 1:30 pm until at least 4 pm, giving him time to abduct the girls, murder the girls and walk back to his black Ford Focus parked at the CPS parking lot sometime after 3:57 pm when SC observed Richard walking down 300 North."
