This a.m. I asked all of you about HIS facial features because they released a new (to us) HUGE face shot for a reason. And they declared THIS IS THE KILLER.... They also said DISREGARD the way he steps b/c that is due to the nature of the bridge. So focus on the face and not his gait... I have had to sit with a police sketch artist and it is grueling. They draw, erase, draw again, they show you different eyes, noses, etc.. AND in the end, ON PAPER there is an accurate face looking at you. A face that was only in your head/memory. It is absolutely amazing. (A suspected killer came into my line at 2:00 a.m for bus fare change at a grocery store that I worked at when I was 18) I was continually called into court for 20 years while he was in jail. FYI, stepping forward as a witness is scary and NOT easy ... we should be happy that we have this composite! It may in the end have some small errors BUT I believe it looks VERY ACCURATE and like someone that MANY “Delphians” recognized on Monday...

Is there an image available online somewhere of the physical flier that they handed out at the press conference?

IMO, the murderer is nowhere near 18 years old (would’ve made him 16 at time of crime). Again, simply listening to his voice tells us he’s closer to 40 than 18. Which brings me to my next point, a younger person would have trashed the cell phone. I think we’re dealing with an older man, maybe he does have a baby face? But I feel certain that the mans hips, gait are not that of a younger person. In addition, the jeans are a lighter fade and not something younger people typically wear. I have family in this area and drive through Delphi frequently. Now it is definitely a blue collar area, but I’m going to say that the clothes put the perp closer to 40.

In your experience, how much attention is paid to symmetry of the face (or lack of symmetry) when doing sketches? For example, if one side is slightly different than the other, is that purposeful or just artist error?

Interesting. Hopefully the quote works this time for me. I was wondering if shack was his name, or nickname, obviously it could be referencing a hut or the book or the film. I’ll try to read More about Nicole Bowen unfortunately the two links you provided won’t work in my country but Thankyou anyway

Exactly. If this was a crime of opportunity and this guy just got lucky with how the circumstances played out, he may not have that sociopathic or psychopathic confidence. He could be living in fear and compounding on that can help. If he is a Socio/pyschopath, than no matter what LE does, the guy is gonna be cold as ice. Since he hasn't toyed with police it's likely this wasn't about attention but the gratification he got from the actual act.

    IMHO ONLY
Yes, I think they have DNA and yes, due to other reasons not associated to a crime, they have at the very least, familial DNA.
    IMHO ONLY!

Its gotta be hard for even a profiler not connected to the case to come up with anything but the basics. Without any details of method, etc. I think he was out hunting and saw opportunity. I just wonder about picking 2 victims in their early teens. Was this seen as a challenge to him?

Profilers say first time murderers are generally in their 20's and 30's.

Bumping this transcript to comment about the "noon to five" car parking/abandonment. I don't believe LE means the car was parked there from exactly 12 to 5. They said "between" 12 and 5. So really anytime within that time frame. Yesterday I went to the dr. between the hours of 3 and 8. The time I actually spent there was more like 5:20 - 6. Not sure this matters, much, but I'm seeing people take the 12-5 "literally" and I don't think that's what was meant. Just my opinion.

Yes good question and why early teens? Easier to control? Naive
victims? Did he pre-plan this trap on the bridge? probably, imo.

Because of my personal experience and interest, I have studied composites next to the actual photo of caught/convicted criminals. Most have about 95% of the detailed features exactly correct.

30 is closer to 40 than 18. In addition, as we know nothing about this perp, we can’t say if this was his first murder.

If he ponders the comments, who knows, he may commit suicide. He got away with his actions, for two years. Every moment, 24/7 he must wonder.....is today the day?
The “what will they think of you” comment has to give him pause. Jmo

    I took a look.
    Wow. Thank you for this.
No MSM on the ties to Delphi but he is definitely to be looked at.
Tortured a woman named Nicole Bowen in a shack then killed her, occurred near Lafayette. your cited article 4/5/19

Someone here astutely noticed the old Delphi district attorney sworn in again this month by the new one.

I would think every male booked in any surrounding county jail is cleared by ISP. Do yeah, why would they hold PC.

    RULES OF THIS DISCUSSION

DO NOT post photos of random individuals (including persons featured in MSM articles about other area crimes) to compare to the images of unidentified suspect on the bridge.

I'm think about the timing of all of this. Middle of the day on a weekday, when most adult men would be working (depending on shift). I know the obvious answer is he worked at the school, therefore he also had the day off. But I'm considering other jobs that might offer a person middle of the weekday freedom. Railroad worker (night or weekend shift)? It was Feb., the off-season, so farmers, landscapers, etc?

To me, I feel this was specific to those girls, but I think only because he saw the opportunity. I'm very curious if BG saw the girls get dropped off, or saw the sister drive by with the girls and a minute later without, so assumed they'd been dropped at the trail? But then why was he in that area with his car? There's a farm implement and supply store between where the car was parked, and where the girls were dropped off. IDK.

I feel BG is a nobody. If he was prominent in the community, the witnesses would have recognized him, there would have been a reaction in the room when the sketch was revealed, etc. JMO
