How are we ever going to know if they were right?!?!?!?! This case has me all riled up...losing sleep and everything. Why haven't they made an arrest if they've had such quality tips????

I just went to the ISP site to download the "clean"/"official" video-still of the perp... and was rather dismayed, and frankly surprised that it is so squatty and distorted... like a mirror in a carnival fun house.
What in the world...?

It looks different because LE isn't putting things in the image that aren't there and they haven't enlarged it to the nth degree.

The number of pixels directly correspond to the resolution (quality) of a picture. When you enlarge a picture the pixels become larger and fewer. This changes the quality and also distorts the image. IMO

Correct -- the original LE release,
from the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center, states

"The images below are from a video taken in the area."

This was ascertained in the very first thread.

Submitted a tip tonight. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night had I not. Maybe it helped, maybe not. They requested my full first and last name but whatever. My point is don't be shy; my call was answered by a live person (after maybe 2 computer prompts) in less than a minute. I have traveled the same roads for 8 years now and I saw something out of the ordinary, and I hesitated but then chose to pull over safely and call. I encourage all to please do the same. My hunch is that they got a warrant and did a search of that house because the audio taped message on Libby's phone revealed they were INSIDE a structure.

How would the audio reveal that, hypothetically speaking?
