That . The WTHR (Indy) news station is where my husband works. Today he gets to report on another that stole his 2-1/2 year old and 4 year old out of their grandfather's strawberry patch yesterday. An Amber Alert went out and the guy knifed both kids then himself. The 4 year old's dead, the 2-1/2 year old is at Riley going into surgery, and the is in the hospital but expected to live... That poor mother...

All three of these people are Selfish, Selfish, that is all that can go through my mind. What absolute horrible selfish people. Who does someone think they are that they can take human lives.
How does a father do this to his own children?
How does a stranger kill seven people?
It seems to me that soldiers in war who have to kill have more remorse and it bothers them a lot more then it bothers these evil people.
Indiana is a sad place to call home these past few weeks.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Convicted murderer Desmond Turner compared himself to Christ Friday morning during his sentencing hearing.

Despite his comparison, Marion County Judge Robert Altice sentenced Turner to life in prison with out the possibility of parole, plus an additional 88 years.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The verdict is in for the second man tried in the worst mass killing in Indianapolis history.

Late Friday night, a Marion County jury convicted James Stewart on 23 of 24 counts against him. This following the June 2006 murders of seven members of the Covarrubias family - including three kids - in the North Hamilton Avenue murders.

Stewart was found not guilty on one count of criminal confinement. Fourteen of the counts were for murder, seven for criminal confinement, one for felony robbery, one for possessing a handgun without a license and one for burglary.

On January 6 at 9 a.m., Stewart faces a bench trial on the habitual offender phase. That could add up to 30 years to his possible life sentence.

UPDATE on the story you linked:

Amid extra security and a packed court room, Walker and the family of the son he murdered learned his sentence: 95 years in prison handed down by Judge David Bolk.

...Walker had no visible reaction.

But he did have a chilling message for his surviving son Monte as he walked out of the courtroom, saying to his ex-wife, "Tell Monte I'll be waiting for him." :furious:
