Found Safe IN - Hannah Potts, 23, Princeton, missing after FB live video saying kidnapped - 24 July 2020

I was going to suggest that case. I can’t remember the name, but she was supposedly kidnapped from a Casino or something, right?
This reminds me of a recent case where a young woman posted to Facebook about being kidnapped. She turned up days later and said it was a misunderstanding o_O

Anyways, hopefully this is too and she is safe soon.

I was just coming to post the exact same thing. There are so many parallels between that case and this one.

I’m actually curious if someone saw her at 2, how long they waited before worrying and what time the Facebook live call was posted?

The last sentence was weird. I’m also finding it weird that her sister wasn’t mentioned in the video if it was a hoax. You’d think she’d be saying “bye” to all she loved. So because of that I lean to either she and sis were having problems or not a hoax. But maybe not necessarily a kidnapping either.

I’m on Team hoax and I really hope that’s the case. I hope she gets the help she needs. I just find the whole scenario implausible. Go with your gut. Though it seems like it would be really difficult to evade FBI. I guess....if hiding out on the farm. I feel bad for her family. But they will be one of the fortunate families if she’s alive & it is a hoax. Maybe hoax is not the right word. I think it’s a mental health issue. She Seems too old for a hoax scenario like when the 48 hour hoax went around w teens. Not sure if that’s what they called it. prayers for Hannah & her family regardless of circumstances.

She also referenced a car and acted like she had mentioned that to her mom before, correct? I wonder if that is true. Concerning if so. Would show not a mental break but hoax or actual kidnapping.

It doesn’t seem like the FBI is actually working on the case?

Just a random thought but when she says "he said something about Ohio..." maybe she's not talking about the State of Ohio but instead a street name. After mapping the area I found a street named East Ohio Street that is only 4.5 miles from the place she was last seen. Wonder if LE has searched that area just in case she's being held at a house there or something.

Oh yeah. Fascinating case.

Dr. Patrick sounded like she fully believed what she was saying, in videos. It didn’t sound like acting to me.
Ohh.. I remember this one.
I live about an hour away from Kalamazoo and followed her case.
So sad. But she did seem to believe the crazy she was saying, singing, etc.

How strange? How can a sheriffs office allow this? Meaning someone to contact lauren Potts? They have to not believe it’s a kidnapping to say this, right?

Twins are usually very close. IF Hanna is having some type of breakdown, posting her sister's name might calm her and convince her to call her sister.

Long shot but ...... did a perp possibly mistake Hanna for her twin sister. (Not even sure both girls live at the same address.) Putting the sister's name out there might make a perp realize they had the wrong person and there would be a better chance for Hanna's safe return.

True Crime Society is not an approved source at Websleuths. There is at least one known incident where LE discounted information that was presented on the site in relation to the Gannon Stauch case.

Would appreciate if someone could locate and link another source for the audio.

Thanks !!

They look nothing alike. I found strange she didn’t mention anything about her sister in her call but did so many others. I don’t think they were close, personally.

Hannah works in the bakery at Walmart.
