Found Safe IN - Hollie Perry, 37, Tell City, 28 May 2019 *Seen on video getting in dark car

Tell City Police need help locating a missing woman.

Hollie Perry was last seen on May 28, 2019, in the Tell City Walmart parking lot.

Around 2:10 a.m., police say video surveillance shows Perry getting into the passenger's side of a dark colored convertible car.

Her car was also located abandoned in the parking lot of Walmart.

Police say Hollie Perry was visiting Indiana from her hometown of Blountsville, Alabama at the time of her disappearance.

Hollie Perry is described as a 37-year-old white woman, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She's around 5'4" and 131 pounds (ca. 59 kg).

Perry has been entered into a national database as a missing person.

If you have any information about where she might be, you are asked to call Tell City Police at 812-547-7068 or call the anonymous tip line at 812-547-9563.
Authorities believe the vehicle she got into could be a Chrysler Sebring or similar make/model.

I sure hope that LE can locate Hollie quickly. If you do a FB search, "hollie perry alabama" you will see two posts from Hollie's mother JH, a correctional officer, detailing what is known so far. Both are worth reading. It may be known who Hollie was with (not substantiated by any MSM or LE yet). Fortunately, Hollie's sons are with Hollie's mother, according to JH.

Walmart's parking lot at 2:10 am? Is Walmart open all night? Or was Hollie just parked in the lot after being somewhere else nearby? What would be open at that hour? Did she meet this guy somewhere, a chance meeting, a prearranged meeting, a date,? Did she have an issue with her car, and this guy showed up at 2 in the morning to give her a lift? So strange.
I hope she is found safe.

So, she's visiting her mother in Tell City, Indiana, and takes off for Wal-Mart in the wee hours of Tuesday, May 28, 2019 (approx. 2:09 AM CDT). She has two small sons who are currently staying with their grandmother (I presume that would be Hollie Anne Perry's mother, whom she was visiting).

She resides in Blountsville, Alabama, some 310 miles south of Tell City, Indiana. She gets picked up from the Wal-Mart parking lot, and is captured on video surveillance getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored convertible, which may be a Chrysler Sebring. (The top was down.) She left her vehicle behind in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

They don't know who picked her up or where she went.

In a departure from the usual handling of these types of cases, where it is obvious that she got into the vehicle willingly, the authorities are treating it as a missing person's case. Rather than the old "Well, she just went off on her own for awhile and she'll turn up later." LE is willing to entertain the notion that she may have met with foul play.

Well, that's good to know. But strange that she wouldn't call to let someone know that she's okay, which isn't so good.

why would she willingly meet someone and get into their car? drugs? prostitution? it's probable she's voluntarily missing like maybe she's on a bender JMO
I just hope nothing bad happened to her
