Since he moved to Indiana right after he was paroled, was Ms. Blanton a pen pal with him while he was in prison? Or perhaps he was originally from Indiana? This guy needs to be in a setting where he must take his medicine. Period. RIP Ms. Blanton.

Thread title is wrong. Jeremy Mull is an Indiana Prosecutor... Not Kentucky.

Exactly. What does someone have to do to get locked up around there?

The answer is simple. He's on parole from Utah for murder. He got arrested in Indiana for assault and failure to yield (not minor crimes, but not major felonies either). Prosecutor asked Utah if they wanted him back for the parole violation. They declined. Its utah's parole violation, not Indiana's. Indiana cant Charge him with that. Prosecutor takes the assault and FTY to the low level criminal judge who is a classic '"ah shucks", overly lenient, "everybody's best friend", "everybody loves him" but not the strictest guy in the world' judge, and says "this guy is dangerous, lets set the bail high enough that we can hang on to him..." Next day a different prosecutor, who may not have even had the entire file in front of him, looks at the relatively minor charges, meets with the defense attorney and they agree to $500. They go before Judge nice guy who doesnt say "uh. I met with another prosecutor yesterday who made a point of asking for a high bond in this matter- maybe you should check with him first?" Instead he grants the $500 and lets him out. Girlfriend pays it. She finds out hes a psycho... dumps him... He kicks in her back door... Kills her and eats her brain,..

If this is in Clark County Kentucky, that's just a couple of hours from me. This one truly made me sick.
