Inmates save deputy's life

    This deputy was attacked by a inmate while he was sitting at the desk alone at a county jail in Tampa FL. Other inmates rushed in to save him. The inmates that saved him were in for violent crimes. There is also a video of the attack. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I was confused between news that makes you smile or crimes in the news. OH notice the attackers last name.     Thanks for sharing this. If real, hardened "bad guys" can manage to do the right thing in a pinch, maybe there's some hope for this crazy world we live in...

    I wonder if the deputy's first thought when seeing all the other inmates rush over if they were going to join in the attack? Did you see the size of the neck on the guy that attacked him? God bless the other inmates for helping the deputy. I realize that some were in for some pretty serious crimes, but like it said in the article there has to be some good in them.
