It's a really built area where he went missing, I can't see how he could walk off in any direction and not be picked up by any cctv.

The road he was last seen on is the main non-motorway bus route from the airport to the city.
I can't figure out either why he wasn't picked up on cctv either

Question do we know any more about the poker event he was attending ?

Wonder if there was any shady characters there and if the people attending have been interviewed.

I think it's likely he flagged a taxi heading in the direction of the city centre. If he was heading north on the side of the hospital the road right beside him would have taxis using the bus lane into the city. Or he could have hopped on a bus however that would mean good chance of being picked up on cctv.
