I'm on a laptop and I'm sure glad I've not seen any of this. I love websleuths. But I don't spend time on websites that are spammy. And I don't definitely don't read on sites with stuff that obscures the view. I'm so glad they've fixed this though. Even though it was not bothering me personally I'm sure it would have chased away new visitors and posters as well inhibit old timers posting regularly. I sure don't want to lose a great website like this! Thanks, Tricia!
Mine is too, and it makes the site very laggy and jerky/jumpy. I don't even want to know what it's doing to my data usage.
Video is back in the banner. I don't like it and spend little time on this site lately because of the banner video. Very distracting and causes slow loading and posting.
Yes, this is what it looks like on a laptop. The video blocks site information, such as which moderators are online. Maybe the video frame pixel size needs to be edited?
I think so. It goes back to what I was saying about "responsive" web design. Content should automatically format for the size of the device. At this time, the format does not work for the size of any device. A video in the title bar should not obscure other frames in the layout.
People are leaving because of this. Including me. Running Fox News videos? All the time? Jamming up my time and bandwidth.... Why do I want to put me or my computer through this?
Thanks....that is what I keep doing....and it comes back. I even looked to see if I downloaded any news, shopping sites etc., but I have not down loaded anything different. I will keep clearing history and web data every time it comes up.
I figured you would have remembered. Much too annoying for me to keep clearing things or shutting other parts off. I rarely look around lately because of some of these annoyances.
Me too,I havent really been on in a couple of days apart from checking if he stupid autoplay is gone!!, on the plus side I have got much more done in real life!! It's incredibly frustrating though because I have threads I want to check
