That's not far from where my in-laws lived at the time. US 84 is the access road that runs beside I-75 (Alligator Alley aka Everglades Parkway). State Route 27 is a fairly major road--four lanes, limited access. It runs from Miami inland to Belle Glade. It crosses 84 in a little place called Andytown. Eight miles north puts her inthe Everglades Wildlife Management Area, probably fairly close to Twentysix Mile Bend. (I'll try to get a map tomorrow. Google isn't cooperating tonight.) It's quite isolated but only ten miles or so from some heavily populated areas and only an hour from the Miami area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the location that the body was found I posted two map views so that you can see a) the location and how remote it is and b) where the location is in relation to the rest of Florida I'm going to be looking into this case. I'll be back in Broward county next month so we will see where this adventure goes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
