3) Don't tell others how to post. This thread is to discuss the trial and if you don't like a particular topic that is being discussed change the subject or roll past the post.

She is describing how Bobby (ex-boyfriend) said EXACTLY the same thing that she told the detective in her 2nd interview. If this is an astute jury, she literally just hung herself.

Prior to June 4th, 2008 Jodi had lived pretty much a decent life, the events of that day are another story.

It seems like the popular thing is to hate her and criticize every single strand of hair but yet for this to be a victim friendly forum...does not really seem like it all kinds of jokes and pictures with wooden spoons. I do not think posters would care to see knife animated pics repeatedly stabbing Travis.


Obviously something happened to Jodi and I do not think making fun of her abuse is something that should be done. I do not hate Jodi and I am glad I do not, I hate what she did and want her to be found guilty.

I do hope the sex tapes do come in, because they will give insight into the demeanor of both parties and are relevant.

IMO one difference is that the knife really did stab Travis Alexander 28 times and slit his throat from ear to ear and clear back to his spine. The spoon and Jodi Arias? That I take with a great deal of reserve. After all she fu**ing lies.

As far as the relevance of the sex tape? I will listen with the thought that one person knew it was being recorded while the other did not.

I don't know that I hate her. She makes it very very hard to like her or even have any empathy for her. And I sure as hell wouldn't set her up with my brother or any of my friends on a date.

And even if the jury missed it, I keep my fingers crossed that Juan Martinez noticed it and will point it out again.

There are just so many similarities between the stories she tells, it's like she has a playbook with just a few different scenarios in her head and keeps telling them in slight variations.

It's not obvious to me anything dreadful happened to Jodi in her childhood. It's entirely possible she was born defective.

She lied before ... Why would I believe her now? She's established that she's willing to say anything to save herself.

From the last thread and the Anne Rice references -- the sadomasochistic books (if they are, and I have no reason to doubt it, just haven't read them) are completely different than the vampire themed ones, of which Interview with the Vampire is the most famous. The latter are classified as "gothic horror" and are the ones Jodi is referring to. Idk if she's even read the others because Anne Rice was much more famous for the gothic horror genre. I think she wrote erotica (or at least most of it) under a different name even. I think it's a huge leap to say Jodi got sadomasochism from Anne Rice and brought it to Travis from that source. I've read all of the Anne Rice gothic horror tales and never even glanced at any of the erotica. Yet I still have a fair amount of knowledge about S&M acquired mostly from pop culture references. jmo
