I brought this over from the last thread because it's a really good post;

Absolutely. Jodi Ann Arias is a text-book, psychological case study. I detect so many disturbing vibes from her, including (but not limited to):

-- She think she's THE HOTTEST chick. She was sky high that TA made her feel like a goddess, like "the most beautiful girl" in the WORLD. Admittedly not because he was worshiping her: it was all in HER mind. She adores how TA chased her down and HAD to get to know her when they met in Vegas. Her insecurities and self-worth got just the ego-boosting drug she's addicted to... because she is ANGRY that nobody loved her enough as a child.

-- She has an unstoppable will to win. She will NOT lose!! She wants to decimate any and all competition. She is highly insulted when anyone else is deemed prettier, smarter, nicer, needier. At 5 or 6, why did she knock her little brother across they head with a bat? She probably hated that he was born and diluted their parents attention. She cowers quietly in a group setting, uncomfortable with being unable to attract the limelight. So she figures out a passive-aggressive way to makes her presence known: she inappropriately crawls all over TA. Now, run and tell his other girls who's in town. Girls, you'd better stand BACK.

-- She will use every trick in the book to win -- as win she MUST. I've never seen a more gleeful tattle-tell. She will collect ammunition in any manner it takes. If snooping doesn't uncover real stuff to smudge people, she'll just make it up. She will confront, threaten and intimidate without fear. (Let's just slash this girls tires -- that'll send her packing!) Insult or challenge Jodi? You're going DOWN. She'll find your weak-spot and pound away. She will work on you 100 different ways until things go HER way.

Someone mentioned on the other thread about Jodi using big words that she doesn't seem to understand. It's an odd thing because I've diagnosed a few people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder over the years and that's something they all had in common--they would use a big or an "educated" sounding word but in context it would be just a little off or not quite convey what they seemed to want and it would leave you scratching your head. A whole conversation of that is seriously wearying.

okay, this is a little behind topic...still trying to catch up here.

in JA's testimony i remember her saying that she suggested them taking the pictures of Travis because he wanted them and she was trying to get him in a better mood after an argument. (at least something along that line)

but i seem to remember earlier can't remember if during interrogation or in beginning of trial her stating he didn't want the pictures taken at first but she talked him into it.

am i mistaken? does anyone else remember that?

I think the jurors should be more concerned about the poor prisoner's she'd be exposed to. If she was able to get a razor to try and cut her wrist imagine what would happen to a poor non violent prisoner who pissed her off. Not everyone in prison is there for killing someone. jmo

yes! I noticed her doing that. I have met a person or three in my life that does that, and I have failed to fully understand what that is. I mean, an occasional word mishap can happen to anyone, but some adopt a way of speaking and they are not using the words correctly and some even make up their own version of it, like it will get past us?
