I attacked you? Have I ever attacked anyone on this or any other board other than those I had a personal grievance. Let us have a vote on that subject and have the many, many, other posters chime in with their remarks. BTW, I have only posted under Hawkshaw on this Board and anyone who is interested in who I am knows who I am. I was even on the Killing Season and many of you saw my picture, alive and in color.

It takes at least two gals to start a cat fight. Yours truly is not playing. I will leave that to one poster and all her 'personalities.'

Okay, this is silly. I thought we are all here to discuss and assist in the Shannan Gilbert and other LISK crimes. I think if everyone wants to work in a positive way towards those goals that is great.

However I think each poster must focus on ideas based on some sort of reality. Stating your wild guess that it was this person, or that group, without some strong supporting facts is not usually helpful.

As well denigrating some poster, or some person involved in this case, again serves no purpose in our goal in searching for justice for the victims.

Can I ask, that before you post a comment you ask yourself, 'will this in some way move the case forward?'

I’m new here but I don’t think Brewer had anything to do with Shannon’s death. Yes, he is a creep who hires hookers and does drugs, but he was upfront with the police and in no way is he sophisticated enough to have killed her or any of the other victims. Brewer should have reined Shannon in and helped her, but he really had no duty to help her. Morally, yes. Does anybody here think that Ms. Gilbert had a psychotic break and got tangled up and died?

Brewer created some of the circumstances that lead to Shannan's death. Morally responsibility is much more important than legal responsibility. (History is filled with legal yet immoral atrocities). I hope we have moved past the point where we blame the victims and absolve the perpetrators.

I don’t know anyone. It appears he was upfront with the police from what I have read and watched. He passed a lie detector test. He cooperated. I’m not sticking up for him as I think he is a total perp, but I do not think he killed her. Also, I’m on the victims side here. I don’t care what a victim does for a living, justice must be served.

Citibank might have sponsored the license, but insurance licenses are given out at the state level, by each state. Federal laws do govern part of the industry, however.

I think we are going off on a non-productive tangent, re insurance. However I am curious about Pak's Casualty Insurance License. Is or was Pak a licensed insurance agent in New York State? I know on the application in NY, the ask about criminal records.

After scouring these forums and reading many of the anecdotes regarding Brewer, watching the Killing Season, 48 Hours special, reading Lost Girls , and using basic reasoning there are simply too many question marks surrounding Brewer.

I'm not certain he is responsible for the GB4, however, I do believe at this stage that if the case is ever solved, his name will be a part of it. This alleged "party pit" , the presence of the "drifter" and Brewer's documented behavior (ordering escorts to his home) are all enormous reg flags that cannot be ignored. I mention the drifter because his memoir and life story paint a picture of the man he once was (he claims to have turned his life around) and this is a known associate of Brewers. If you believe the idiom "You are the company you keep", then you realize not only does Brewer himself participate in the sex trade as a customer but he also maintained relationships with men who had a propensity for violence.

I think if Brewer is not responsible, whoever is responsible was at one point in time, associated with him, likely attending one of his debaucherous parties that he hosted. Although many profiles of LISK theorize he must have very strong ties to the area , possibly growing up there, I beg to differ.

If he grew up on LI and visited Oak Beach over the course of many years, he'd be familiar enough with the area to feel comfortable using it as a dump site. Furthermore, if he participated in illicit acts in the area, there may be some kind of association that would draw him to using this area to dispose of victims. For all we know, Brewer himself may have his hunch on who LISK is and may have provided authorities with information. At the very least, there is a discrepancy in his accounts vs. the accounts "W" aka "The Drifter of Oak Beach" aka "Vito Safarti". Plenty finger pointing and implications.

I sure hope John Ray is able to get those 911 calls made public, I'm not getting hopes up as I realize how tall an order this is but we need some more transparency. It is absurd that this guy was eliminated as a POI so early on...

Finally? I saw the 48 hours special when it aired and started looking into this case deeper about 3 weeks ago.

There are many's JB's ... and I've read all kinds of theories about it being Bissett, Brewer, Bittrollf and even Lindsay Henry. Seems you share the opinion that Brewer, his home and network of degens should be probed, pryed, put under a magnifying scope.

I know these guys range from real methodical & clean to impulsive hoarders. I was a young kid when Rifkin had his run but from what I read about his living conditions, there is a striking similarity to how Brewers habitat was described by numerous people (with the exception of corpses lying around in the home). Basically a pig sty and uninhabitable by many peoples standards.

Since you've been watching this closely from the get-go, care to summarize what you know about Brewer?
