Karen’s torso missing

Although she was identified Karen’s Vergata’s dismembered torso was never located.
The dismembered legs and feet of Karen was found in a plastic garbage bag in Davis Park on Fire Island in April of 1996, 15 years later her decapitated skull was found ashore in Tobay Beach close to Gilgo. Her torso and upper limbs where never recovered. Where did the killer (allegedly RH) drop off her torso and arms? Why wasn’t it found yet, was it part of his plan to evade detection? or the Suffolk County law enforcement recovered all the body parts of Ms. Vergata that was avalible?

Glad you started this thread - this has irked me for a while.

If we knew where he dropped the legs, we might have a better idea. If it was from a bridge etc. That said he could have placed the legs on the beach and skulked around there to be able to enjoy the reaction of the unlucky couple who found the legs, of course.

Thankfully, LE most likely has the GPS info and have traversed the areas most frequently visited by RH. With all their data science resources and expertise this must be rather obvious.

I've always wondered why not put pieces in several bags with weights, rent or have a boat and throw them into the sea so that they go and stay at the bottom...

Didn't he have a boat and was a known duck hunter? I think he probably used that method for a fair number of victims. My opinion is his tactics as well as his perversions were constantly evolving. Are there any potential cases between 2010-2023 that could be attributed to RH's known MO's?

Another pattern is after Karen’s legs (with feet) were found in 1996 in the June of 97’ the unidentified possible LISK victim Peaches dismembered torso was found in a green rubbermaid garbage dump with a black tarp over it a family going for a stroll in Hempstead park discovered the rotting torso before alerting the nearby police within the area.
