LONDON — Two British newspapers reported Thursday that Kate Moss (search) has checked into a rehabilitation clinic in Arizona.

Friends of the 31-year-old supermodel who was photographed apparently snorting cocaine told The Times that Moss flew to The Meadows clinic (search), where she will spend a month in "medical treatment and therapy."

A nurse on duty at the Wickenburg, Ariz., facility said she could not confirm or deny a patient's presence. The model's agent wasn't immediately available for comment Thursday. Several phone calls to the Storm modeling agency went unanswered.

    Kate Moss Might Be Charged

LONDON — Government prosecutors are advising police in their investigation of British supermodel Kate Moss' (search) cocaine use, the Crown Prosecution Service said Friday.

Scotland Yard sent case papers to prosecutors, asking for advice on whether there was enough evidence or sufficient public interest to charge Moss, said Russell Hayes, a spokesman with the Crown Prosecution Service. He said it was routine for police to ask for advice in such a case.

Without evidence, however, it is unlikely Moss will be charged.

Kate Moss faces arrest on return

Kate Moss is to be arrested and questioned about cocaine claims when she returns to Britain.

The supermodel will be asked to attend a police station on arrival from the American clinic where she is being treated for drug use.

The model is expected to be formally arrested and interviewed under caution over the allegations that she snorted the drug in a west London recording studio.

Sounds like she's gonna be in some doo-doo. Hope she enjoyed her high - it's been quite an expensive one for her.

Robbie Williams latest to defend Kate Moss

British pop star Robbie Williams said Friday that supermodel Kate Moss is being attacked unfairly for allegedly using cocaine.

"It wouldn't have surprised me if she had tried to commit suicide the week that everything hit the papers," Williams told reporters at a news conference to introduce his new album, "Intensive Care."

He said she was being singled out by the news media, which "have got a lot to answer for. We're talking about a woman who has never harmed anyone or hurt anyone and who has never pretended to be anyone she isn't."

"She's done nothing wrong. What she does in her private life should be her private life," Williams said. "She is an absolute icon, she's beautiful. Every time I have met her she has been really lovely to me."
