I’m not sure what’s so hard about it. He’s a ruthless sociopath.

But MOO, it’s disbelief that gets people killed every day. “Oh he’d never hurt me”

Sam, responding to a question as to how Kelsey’s dad reacted in court today.

saw him cry and sink his head during the blood stain testimony. I didn’t see on the inmate testimony

Also, I’m so sorry you lost your long post from the heart ... that is beyond frustrating and has happened to many of us.

    The notes were hand-written.

    The handwriting is PF's.

    Therefore, PF wrote the notes.

Yes, I know that the claim is that they were written before the trial. I said the statement is written as though it is a product of information gleaned from the trial, not something that could be known way back in Sept-Oct before the trial occurred.

I don't have the link for the first telling that I read: "...He also claimed to the inmate that prosecutors were "coaching [Lee] of the circumstantial evidence to match up."..."

It sounds like something written during the trial.

You do realize that these napkins were only presented on Monday with the claim by Bentley that they were written earlier? The DA received them Monday. Did CBI Agent Slater authenticate when they written in some way, or must we rely on convicted felon Bentley's word?

Call me silly, but my confidence in the DA's office and the Judge are high enough that I don't believe they got sucked in by a con.

A lie detector test would not have been admissible in court but I'll be amazed if Bentley didn't have to pass one before this advanced very far.

It sounds like something all guilty people say. “I’m being framed,” or “the prosecution is railroading me.”

We know for a fact that the claim that KK was coached, is patently false. You can’t coach a person who knows more than you do, or lead her to evidence you haven’t even discovered yet.

It works the other way though, which is exactly what happened. She led them.

How do you know PF wrote them? Because Bentley says so? I am looking for some authentication by anyone other than Bentley.

Because the defense didn’t even dispute it. Maybe?

Yes, and apparently, for some, it's an extremely rare and beautiful thing.

    Same.

Life is too short to waste reading codswallop and having it affect your emotions and insult your intellect.

I don't know what media others are exposed to, but what I read is that Stiegerwald tore Bentley to shreds during the cross.

    wait and see...

Why would PF have to wait until the trial to glean this information?

The DA passed over their documents on KK's upcoming testimony way back in Sept/October. So those notes could have easily been written back then.

The Franch should be turned over to the State at once. What happened there is a disgrace, but more than that, it's a sacred burial ground now.

I'm going to add in a controversial bit of analysis (hoping that at least one woman who is thinking "he'd never hurt me" will benefit.

PF had two parallel traits: the ability to transform rage into a killing scheme (not just impulse) AND

the ability to amp up into full-on "hunter mode" when the prey tried to escape.

I have seen this type in action (angry and abusive, very violent - but then absolutely murderous if defied/the prey tries to escape).

The first action (premeditation, bringing a bat, all of that) amped him up enough to administer the first blows. But he hesitated long enough that she could beg for her life in two small words. She may have tried to get up and lunge toward the living room, he amped up the attack. I believe she fought for her life as best she could. And that enabled him to be even more brutal, as he knew it would. She, on the other hand, had no pre-planning and reacted as best she could. He liked the unfairness of it. It was the basis of his MO. "Pick on someone who is unsuspecting and relatively helpless; convince yourself they really need to die; get more agitated if they try to escape/evade their own death."

This is a domineering, controlling, impulsive sociopath.
