I thought most schools had strict check out policies enforced whereby a valid ID is required. Why didn't the school contact his emergency contact first? This child should not be missing! He's carrying a blue blanket. He's just a baby!

"Authorities report he was last seen at Rosehill Elementary School, 409 E School St., in Rose Hill, Kansas.

He is said to be wearing gray sweatpants, a green t-shirt, black shoes and carrying a blue blanket.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said a woman entered Rosehill Elementary School’s daycare posing as a social worker. Under such identification, she was able to access Brixton and leave the school with him...

She ... long blonde hair —

I'm shocked that this worked in this day and age. She really put on some fake glasses and held a clipboard and the school was like, this checks out! Looking on the map the town looks very small and on the far eastern outskirts of Wichita. Maybe just a small town lack of protocol at the school?

But also wouldn't you think folks in a small town school would know about his parental situation and be extra careful? Wouldn't they have known what his mother looks like? Or did she perhaps lose custody years ago and hasn't been living in that same small town?

woman entered the Rosehill school daycare posing as a social worker and took 5-year-old Brixton Sisk

I'm just bringing this forward because when my kids were in school ( although not in the after school daycare part) there were high school students who interned for this program. I wonder if it was not an actual teacher but a student/helper who released the child? IMO

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said around 2:40 p.m., a woman, later identified as Danielle Banzet, entered Rosehill Elementary School’s daycare posing as a Social Worker. She gained access to Sisk and exited the school.

The pair was seen entering a black Suburban with an unknown male driver leaving the school. The vehicle had a paper 30-day tag. Authorities reported just after 7 p.m. that the group had switched to a gray 2010 Volkswagen Jetta with the license plate number 461NWF.

Banzet had been accused of threats of violence ...

So, the court took her parental rights away.

AMBER ALERT: 5-year-old boy taken from Kansas daycare by mother
To recap, so far LE has confirmed:

1) Mom had her parental rights taken away because of prior threats of violence
2) Mom impersonated a social worker to take her son out of school
3) Mom drove to the school with an unidentified male in a black Suburban with a temporary tag
4) Mom, the unidentified male, and Brixton then transferred to a different car (2010 Volkswagen Jetta)

The ‘disguise’ combined with the involvement of an unidentified male and the use of two different vehicles suggests this was planned. The question is, why? Does she have plans to harm Brixton? Or does she just want to have physical (not legal) custody of him?

From the KBI: The suspects have been arrested and the child recovered by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The public's assistance in this matter was outstanding. Several of the tips provided led investigators to the location. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's actions in this matter were exceptional.
