    Unidentified White male
    * Found April 2, 1989 in Geary County, KS
    * Estimated Year of Death: 2 years

    Vital Statistics
    * Estimated age: 36-39 years old
    * Approximate Height: 63 estimate
    * Distinguishing Characteristics:
    Dental work. Bridge work conducted on top layer of teeth. Bridge was located near site. Unique anomalies found in lower vertebra that can be used to assist in identification if x-rays of victim are located. Injury found during examination to the 4th cervical vertebra and 3rd lumbar vertebra.
    * Dentals:
    Dental information / charting is available and entered
    * Clothing/Jewelry: nothing
    * DNA: Tests in currently not available


    Case History:
    Skeletal remains found on a Smoky Hill River sandbar in Geary County, Kansas, south of Interstate 70 and just west of Grandview Plaza, Kansas.

    I resubmitted Ross Crane as a possible match directly to the Sheriffs office since they're appealing to the public. He's still not listed as a rule out, so maybe it got buried in paperwork?

    Looks like a pretty good match. Steven Hedgers is now ruled out in addition to Sinisgalli, but no Mr. Crane. DNA says initial inquiry. Perhaps that's why it's been delayed? I would think the extensive dental work of the UP would have either IDed or ruled out any possible matches quite quickly, however.

    Dentals could conceivably be inconclusive if there are differences, but all the differences are things that could have been acquired after the missing person disappeared.
