Peak said he was the first officer to arrive at Pat Kimmi's home and conducted a thorough search for her inside the house. He said the Kimmi family indicated that Pat regularly washed her hair in the morning, but the sink, shower and bathtub were all dry. Kimmi's prescription box still contained her medication for that day.

The Prosecution called Detective Terry Kelly with the Atchison Police Department, to the stand around 2 p.m. Kelly had been called to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Kelly said he collected a brown velvet bag with a maroon velvet bag inside, which held eight live rounds of .22-magnum ammunition. A metal money clip found nearby contained bills that appeared to be soaked with blood, was found nearby, along with a bloody latex glove and an empty bottle of Black Suede cologne.

Also in the vicinity was an area of blood-soaked grass that Kelly said reminded him of the impression left by a snow angel in the wintertime. ..... ((more at link ^^))

I've been reading along the past year, and decided to register. Has anyone said if Hollister has a previous ccriminal record? If not why would he suddenly decide to kill and be involved with EK? Also if EK testifies he'll be implicating himself, thus leaving himself wide open for charges. Hopefully he will be behind bars before long.

I just wanted to say that all of us want the truth to be heard about this case and having it printed here will not bother us. We are going to hear it in the courtroom and it will be reported by the media. It will be extremely hard to hear some of it again, but we want everyone to know the truth.


We may not be able to correct the inaccuracies of the reports until the trial is over because a couple of us were given a supboena by the defense.

Gosh, for so long it seemed this trial would never happen.

Continued prayers for the Kimmi's (except...well, you know). I can't really imagine how difficult it must be for you to be there and hear the details. But you have proven yourselves to be strong and determined to see justice for your Mom. You will see it through.

Thanks for your comments. Learning details from the last 2 days testimonies has been a mind-boggling experience. It's hard to believe that all of this has happened in a small Kansas community. I'm sure that it must be very difficult to hear these things, but I can't imagine how difficult it's been knowing them and not talking about it. You and your family are an amazing group of people. Stay strong. I know that all of the posters on WS want to know the truth and that we are with you and your family for the duration! God Bless you and Keep you.

Myer said he spoke with Hollister on two occasions in December 2009 and that Hollister was both cooperative and calm. He said Hollister gave conflicting statements on the sale of his truck, after law enforcement learned Hollister had traded and then repurchased the truck. Myer said Hollister also showed him a money clip that was identical to that found by investigators, with the exception of the date the coin on the clip was minted.
