    Friday update: he's been identified: http://www.kwch.com/news/local-news/hunter-finds-human-remains-in-sedgwick-county/36757130

    Friday afternoon Update: Forensics investigators have identified the bones found at 6500 N. Hillside as that of 54-year-old James Labat. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office said Labat was an absconder from the Kansas Department of Corrections.

    Investigators are now working to determine Labat's cause of death.

    Anyone who may have had contact with Labat last summer is asked to call 911 or the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.
