It's not Jacob. The NAMUS date is wrong and should be 2021. Here's an article from 2 days ago (1/21/21) about the search for him. He disappeared almost 2 weeks ago.

I wonder how sure they are the skull is from a pre-20 year old. Tanner Harper was 22 when he went missing. I remember the day he apparently jumped from the 2nd Street Bridge since I could see the bridge from my office. The island is just a bit downstream from the bridge so I wonder if it could possibly be him.

I wonder how where on Shippingport Island the skull was found. Which side? I was looking up some information about it and there was a facebook page created about the Island with a few pictures. One was disturbing as it looked like blood on the top of a barrel and the caption mentioned hair on the ground. When the weather gets nicer, I'm tempted to see if some friends are interested in exploring.

There's also another island called Sand Island next to it. That one has no accessibility without a boat as far as I know. I hope it was checked for remains.

There was a search crew from Wisconsin using side scan sonar. Are they still searching the river? Or have they concluded and gone home?

A human skull was found Jan. 14, 2021, at 2600 Shipping Port Island, about 15 feet from the water on the banks of the Ohio River.

The gender and race of the person is unknown. Investigators believe the person was under 20.
