• Identifiers: DNA and dental x-rays available.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Richards was last seen while kayaking in the Gulf of Mexico off Grand Isle, Louisiana on September 10, 2012. He has never been heard from again.

At 1:00 p.m., a fisherman saw him in his kayak and asked if he needed assistance but Richards declined. Later that afternoon, his kayak was found empty and floating upside down in the ocean, but Richards was nowhere to be found. His car was still parked nearby at a marina in Grand Isle.

Despite extensive searches conducted over several days, Richards has never been located and is presumed deceased.
