Not to derail this thread but to give some insight to the strip club hustle of a door-guy (not all but literally most):
Bouncers and door guys encounter an entire shift of strangers or bar patrons. Often times these patrons will flash around money, tip the door guys or bouncers to set them up with ladies that would be "fun" (and they give an outline of what their fun is exactly). Bouncers, mngmt and door guys all arrange these things. Everywhere.
*currently I'm on tour with the one of the largest strip-club franchises in the US. Our club absolutely does this and even has a "limo service" to allow the girls to be on shift yet leave with customers, as long as they take the limo. Every night I'm approached at least twice by mgmnt or floor hosts and ushered to a table for customers I've been selected for. I never have left with a customer and don't do shady stuff but they almost always are hoping I will/do - and they push me away once they understand I'm there to make money, not leave with them for a sum of money.
It is highly probably that TS knew this hustle and employed it to make side cash. Your avg door guy makes min wage plus tips, and boy do they depend on tips. They also are the guys the girls get to know a bit better and trust because these are the men who usually walk us to our taxi or car, load our gear up and that we tip for doing so. We feel "safe" with them in this unspoken type code. Jaren likely knew TS, at least through word of mouth that night and decided that MAS couldn't be all that bad if she was with TS. And if Jaren knew TS - maybe he hooked her up with a good paying patron before or something to that effect.
TS probably (most likely) knew a guy or guys that wanted a dancer or woman for the night, and TS / MAS worked as the middle man. This means he gets a cut of the pay for delivering, however I could totally see Jaren being left out of this tid bit of information and thinking it was just a 3-way with mas, ts with drugs ... and then getting there and the game is shifted or switched up.
I think in the email to MAS about panties and fluids was more or less directed towards MAS about her own behavior that night and that was TS's way of calling her "loose" and placing this paying customer at the scene. Does that make sense? MAS slept with both Ts and another guy *probably the one Jaren was hired for* and didn't use a condom... which is the only evidence of another person there and she (MAS) has proof of it.
Another way this plays out too is that MAS, TS and Jaren were engaged in a 3some and this other person arrives *that the perps knew about* and Jaren wasn't down with this... she wanted to leave and felt MAS lied to her, or really any variation of this. I can see how this "fight" went down about a dozen different ways, only because I have been an escort and I have been lied to and things got super scary. I mean .. scary *people jumping out of the shower to beat me etc, as I was set up by a female who was supposed to be working with me but she wanted my money*.
I do think MAS had way more to do with this then it's being led on about, and I think that way based on some experiences I've encountered. I know how bad things can turn and how quickly in a blink of an eye. If you add in drugs, addictions and money.. .well, you have a homicide waiting to happen. 3's a crowd but 4 is too many. I really think there's a 4th person and that is a male who is alluded to in the email regarding the panties. I don't think they would discuss Jaren's panties because she was disposed of and those panties were too. MAS is the one who didn't dispose of her bottoms and probably didn't think anything about the DNA in them either.
I have went to the other sinister side of this and wondered if Jaren was hired only for the purpose of murder, among other things.
Why would MAS and Jaren fight?
Jaren was promised X amount of money and was either shorted or not paid at all.
Jaren was told it was going to be MAS and TS but another person arrived and did things Jaren wasn't into, and maybe she asked to leave but MAS and TS were personally invested and wanted whatever it was they were promised to be received. MAS was chosen to go get Jaren and make her comply. MAS brought a knife to threaten her when words weren't enough, they got into a tussle and MAS stabbed her once through the heart.
*If they were doing blow (cocaine), Jaren would bleed out much faster because of her heart rate and blood pressure.
It was an argument because not everything was what it was supposed to be. Maybe the amount of people changed, maybe it was a 3 some and then another person showed up to "party". TS probably told this other person he could have Jaren if he paid TS. TS was paid and MAS told Jaren she would join her but Jaren was having none of it and then they got into it.
Either way we are talking about two people who were homeless addicts (MAS, TS). They had to live hand to mouth, con games are absolutely part of this - as well as sex being a way to get money and drugs.
On a sidenote: MAS looks like she's put on some weight and doesn't look so strung out, so she's either gotten somewhat clean or she's been able to feed herself lately. She totally looked like a heroin addict when they first were arrested, and that is one hell of an expensive habit because you can't just stop - it's the worst detox ever.
Sorry for the ramble but this is the case that brought me here and sadly a friend of mine went missing around the same time *same summer* and has never been found. Her husband coped to murdering her over oxy's and she's never been found. She was also a dancer. I've lost so many friends and associates to this lifestyle, more are strippers than escorts - believe it or not.
I know how things work in the Quarter, and I know TS's type -- doorman/street person/hustler -- the guy one seeks out when one needs special accomodations.
