Please boost this, there has been relatively little coverage and there could be a link to another black woman, Jasilas Wright, also found on I-10

Kaylan was found dead on I-10 and the case is still under investigation. They believe she was hit, but the driver has not been found.

Kaylan Ward's body was found dismembered on June 4 along Interstate 10 near the Bullard Avenue exit. Friday marked the six-month anniversary in the case...

The New Orleans Police Department said Ward was seen walking riverbound on Earhart Boulevard near Magnolia Street the night before her body was discovered. The NOPD said she was trying to get a ride to North Miro Street...

Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans said it was offering a $5,000 reward for information in the case.

Relatives said Saturday, on the anniversary of when Ward's body was found, that the teenager was beautiful and always happy.

Ward was last seen by a friend who lives in Central City. Family members call the area ground zero and returned Saturday to canvass for information and leads.

The group of Ward's loved ones went around the neighborhood to pass out fliers and went door-to-door to speak to neighbors. Family and friends hope that someone has information that will help police solve the case.

"That is the hardest part that we don't know. We just want closure," one family member said.

Oh, this mama absolutely breaks my heart! It seems like this should have been easily solved. And now 2 years later, it will be much harder to prove or find any evidence. Mom said she has another unsolved case of her husband from 2009. I cannot even imagine.
