I had no idea casey had so many different attorneys. Amazing that they can visit 24/7.
Are all these attorney's listed as casey's council, or can any lawyer baez wants come to visit for hours at a time? Also, I noticed LE and Melich came to visit (scratches head). Do they also have to notify baez if they want to visit casey? There are quite a few interviews. Can anyone other then attorneys simply have a face to face visit with her? Or are these interviews done over the camera, like her parents used to do? So many questions, sorry

I'm sure she feels slighted. That narcissistic behaviour casey possesses won't like that she's not the center of baez's world.

FWIW - I visit incarcerated clients very infrequently and only when there is something specific to tell them or if I need to prepare the client for a hearing or trial.

If you really think about it, once a client provides you with the initial information, they are not that necessary for you to prepare your case.

So, a visit every five days is very generous as far as I am concerned.

Thanks rhornsby. Also, it seems most attorney visits are very late at night. One visit lasted just about 10 hours (Interview) So, can anyone just go and request an interview and just about sleep over? Is there a time limit as to how long someone may stay?

I can picture Cindy visiting for a week (if she were allowed a face to face visit) ~snorts~

I see on 11.14.09 Jeanene Barrett just spent the entire night with KC---visit began @ 8:46pm on 11.14.09 and ended @ 6:21am on 11.15.09. What's up with that! 9 hrs. 47 min!
What did they do have a slumber party?

Question....

Could KC use these taped attorney client meetings as a basis for an appeal?

IOW, lets say she is convicted, she will get an appeal. I would think any defense atty could make a claim that she did not have proper representation (JB) and not be thought any less of.

Could these tapes be used, even without the audio? JB has been warned about inappropriate touching etc.....

Has this ever been done? If so, would the tapes them become public record?

Does anyone know if indeed the State did already have their State's investigative subpoena issued and depose Dominic? We haven't seen a updated court filing that would be a Defense Witness List to suggest that Baez did pony up a witness list at last, so I assume the State forged ahead as the judge instructed in the recent hearing. Do any of our local members know of any local talk on this subject? I asked Richard Hornsby but he hasn't answered yet.

Secondly, have the Anthonys or the defense been on local TV since the judge ruled? We haven't heard a peep nationally.:snooty:

Interestingly enough, NONE of the defense has been on local TV since the motions were denied. The last time they were on local TV was right after the 12/11 hearing, when they did their Press Conference that was rudely cut short after Kathi B. asked some direct questions that they didn't want to answer.

The Anthony's haven't been on local news TV in a long time (other than at the hearing, and they didn't have much to say), can't remember the last time actually... Brad has done a couple things locally, but it's been a while (other than after the hearing, and some brief comments).

After the last powerful Hearing (on Dec. 11, 2009) where Ashton described how Caylee died .... KC had the mitigating specialist, Jeanene Barrett and the P.I. Mortimer Smith, visit KC from 2:00AM until 5:00AM, then Andrea Lyon visited from 5:00AM to 6:30AM on Dec. 12, 2009 (NO BAEZ visit!!!)
Baez did not visit KC until Dec. 17, 2009, from 8:30AM till 9:42AM.

It seems the mitigating specialist, Jeanene Barrett, visited KC 2 days in a row, one day for TEN HOURS (8:46am on the 14th till 6:20am on the 15th) on Nov. 14th to Nov 15th and the next day for 3 hours on Nov 15th (3:21AM till 6am). This was days before Kronk's depo on Nov. 19th.

Baez, attorney Sarah Buckley, the P.I. Mortimer Smith, and Andrea Lyon all visited about the same time on Nov. 18th, from 7:30am till 9am (before Kronk's depo on the 19th).

I can see going after work hours, but choosing to visit KC at 2am... ?? I wonder if KC threw a tantrum and insisted they come talk to her? She was likely wound up after that hearing! I can see how low man on the totem pole (the PI) might get elected to go appease her at that hour. Maybe she wasn't satisfied and wanted one of her lawyers, thus AL got stuck with the 6am shift?Baez probably has a built-in excuse now. It wouldn't "look appropriate" for him to be there visiting her at 2am

It does not surprise me. I would think that while KC has gone for months shutting reality away and living in her own world in jail, times like the Dec. 11 anniversary and motion hearing must bring her back to reality with a bump and trigger unwanted memories.

The thing is being in jail, there are no distractions like at home so if you get hung up on the horrible reality you can obsess on it and go crazy. While at times KC may have confidence that she is going to go free and fantasize about that time, she must also have irrational fears about all sorts of things that are happening and not, especially given the infrequent updates.

Talk about going stir crazy, I know I would so I think KC does at times....... like TL stated with the cold sweats in the night.

If true (or being creatively fabricated) it would play into the sentencing phase to mitigate against DP, playing on dysfunctional family and hyping it to the Nth degree as to why KC is who she is today?

It makes a LOT of sense since they cannot go with the insanity plea (nor would KC want to) and they know the evidence is insurmountable .... so go with her background.

I am sure the family background is going to play a key role both in the trial and the sentencing.

Saw that...save that particular person just turned 26. Assuming they are one and the same. Worth looking into if for no other reason defense strategy.
