I'm interested to know a little more about cell phone data. Did the phone last ping from the house or were there no movements from that general area? I assume probably not if they're searching that close to the house.
I don't think they've disclosed any pings; just that her phone has been off since Jan 1 AFAIK. MOO

I believe it's the husband's mother who lives in the family home. I'm searching for the link to that info now so currently MOO.
Was this ever confirmed?

Looking at transcript from press conference (below), makes me think the police don't have direct report from family member. I'm guessing that husband is telling police that one of his kids says they saw mommy leave...

Reporter - So someone saw her leaving the house, physically?.

LE - We have information to that effect.

I've read that friends are saying she was planning to go to DC on Jan 1st but have any reports clarified if friends had firsthand knowledge (learned of these plans directly from Ana) or if friends learned this from her husband, after the fact?

I can't help but wonder if the fact that her husband is facing sentencing has something to do with this disappearance. If he was going to be serving time she would have to change her lifestyle totally and most like wouldn't be able to commute for her job that she seemed to love.

"The ground search by Massachusetts State Troopers and Cohasset Police Officers for Ana Walshe or evidence related to her disappearance has concluded. Twenty Troopers from the MSP Special Emergency Response Team, a specialized unit trained in search and rescue operations, as well as three K9 teams and the State Police Air Wing searched wooded areas near Ms. Walshe’s home with negative results for the second straight day. State Police divers also searched a small stream and a pool with negative results. The ground search will not resume unless police develop new information that so warrants it," the law enforcement agencies said in a statement.

Delusional and corrupt he is no matter what this story ends up being. Now look. I just really hope she has 'left the vicinity' with a plan to be safe with her children. The children are entirely innocent and so dependent on the parents they know and need. The only innocent ones it seems. Thanks for sharing the legal details of the husband's case. Awful, but there it is. I can't say he has done 'anything' at this point now, for some reason, as hopefully she took another option in her life to escape what's been going on legally in their lives, fair or not, but the main job of hers is also to keep those little boys safe. Hoping it ends well as possible for her.

I honesty Can not imagine him wanting any undue attention, specifically because of his legal troubles. I can’t imagine he would have the audacity to harm his wife, inviting his life to be on display. Stranger things have happened, I know…but…. JMO

Do we think that maybe Ana just recently learned about all of this? Or was she involved knowingly?
OH she was involved in the Warhol fraud. Reading about it it seemed though it was through 'texts', maybe not her actual voice in the detailed court /crime statment above. Maybe husb said he was Ana to victims. He is the one charge in that and his father's home emptied and sold off, also I believe all listed in that document above. Awful. SHAME if this is how it all affected her life and little sons.

Replying to my own post. I know, Murdaugh is a classic example. But, I just do not see that here. JMO again

It appears that Ana benefited from funds he transferred (father's estate - not the Warhol thing) but it's not clear whether she knew where those funds came from. I will give her the benefit of the doubt. MOO

It’s almost always the husband. Not always , but that’s where you start.
I'm leaning that way, but just like the freaky coincedence of the fire at their former home on J Road. It's not always the spouse, right?

What IF - Ana had another love interest. Maybe that relationship was in crisis or she simply wanted to see him/her sooner than January 3rd. She makes up the work emergency as a cover to leave two days early. The problem with this scenerio is - someone said they saw her leave with suitcases, but LE says ring camera footage doesn't show a vehicle arriving to pick her up. So ...

It's my understanding there were only two adults in the home when Ana left. Brian says he was asleep, so that leaves the MIL? Unless it was one of the kids that saw her leave?

What if she's somewhere IN the house?

Joint Statement from Cohasset Police Department and Massachusetts State Police

Please See a Joint Release From Cohasset Police and the Massachusetts State Police

The ground search by Massachusetts State Troopers and Cohasset Police Officers for Ana Walshe or evidence related to her disappearance has concluded. The ground search will not resume unless police develop new information that so warrants it.

Simultaneously, State Police and Cohasset Police detectives continue to undertake various investigative actions to determine Ms. Walshe’s whereabouts.

Regarding yesterday’s fire at Ms. Walshe’s former house on Jerusalem Road, the State Police Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit and local investigators have determined that the cause of the fire was accidental.

There is nothing further that we are reporting publicly at this time.

So they didn't find a thing in that wooded area. The ground search is "concluded"

Either she is in the house, or did she abscond....maybe with help?
Has there been a search warrant from lamp

Possible. But the fire was quickly ruled as accidental. Crazy coincident I think.

Gas has an odor and it was said to be a gas connection pipe to a fireplace that was broken. How I wonder still did that happen. If gas pipe in the attic/by chimney (if so) something would of sparked that into a fire. Thankfully the people escaped and their child. Ruled accidental but maybe it's not the case really. IMO.
