EAST BRIDGEWATER — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 29-year-old woman missing since early Saturday morning.

Christine Silva, 29, was last seen leaving a home on Plymouth Street (Route 106) at 1:30 a.m., the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office said in a release sent out Saturday night.

Silva, who lives in East Bridgewater, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and yoga pants when she left the home at 1652 Plymouth St., which is near the Route 104 junction and the borders of Bridgewater and Halifax.

A district attorney spokesperson would not comment on whether the disappearance should be considered suspicious.

“Anyone with any information on Silva’s whereabouts should contact Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office at 508-923-4014 or East Bridgewater Police at 508-378-7223,” the district attorney’s release said.

A relative to Silva first contacted East Bridgewater police today and requested a well-being check, the release said. Police were unable to find her.

Where was Christine going at 1:30 in the morning? I also note that there's no mention of a vehicle. Did she have one?

My first guess would be that she had been visiting the home (hot date, babysitting, family dinner, movie night, who knows) and was heading back to her own residence.

That the release is coming out of District Attorney's office is rather concerning.

When she left home, relatives called police asking them to check up on her but they were unable to locate her.

I don’t think it was her house she was leaving, this article says

This also says a helicopter was seen circling around the area she was last seen.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a 29-year-old East Bridgewater woman after she went missing early Saturday morning, officials said.
Christine Silva was last seen about 1:30 a.m. leaving a home at 1652 Plymouth St. in East Bridgewater, according to a joint statement Saturday from State Police, East Bridgewater police, and the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office.
At the time, Silva was wearing a black jacket and yoga pants, officials said. A relative requested a wellness check Saturday, but troopers were unable to find Silva, officials said.
