.

Meade describes finding man in back, hands tied, wounds on neck, in blood with a solvent on him. And then a woman on back, in liquid w/hands behind her back and clearly not alive.

Meade describes seeing photos of people on trips on a wall that had been marked with words “payback” and “you killed my wife” written alongside.

Photo of crime scene shown to jury. It is of writing on the wall. It says “he killed my wife”.

Thanks Niner. It seems clear to me that this was Teixeira's attempt to direct investigator's attention away from himself and toward a former patient (any patient) of the doctors.

Jurors View Knife Believed To Have Killed South Boston Doctors
November 27, 2019 at 5:40 pm
BOSTON (CBS) – On Wednesday, more police officers who responded to the murders of two doctors in South Boston testified about what they found at the scene, including a knife they believe was used in the murder and words written on the wall of the doctors’ penthouse.

Jurors also saw the knife police believe was used to kill doctors Lina Bolanos and Richard Field. Bampumim Teixeira, 32, of Chelsea, was charged with the crime. In 2016 he was a security guard in the Macallen Building, where Bolanos and Field lived.

[...]
Sergeant Detective Edward Meade took the stand and described the writing he found on the wall of the doctors’ apartment. “There was a wall with photos – like photos of people on trips, and a couple of the photos had been crossed out, like with – marked – and there were some words written, ‘Payback – you killed my wife.” That’s what I – that’s what I observed.”

agreed. I suspect he’s been following them for a while for him to have known they were both doctors and to have planned to make it look like revenge.

After a holiday break, the murder trial of Bampumim Teixeira resumes today. Here’s where we left off:

Back on the stand this morning is Lt. Det. Daniel Duff. He processed the crime scene.

Prosecutor John Pappas is going through the evidence collected at the murder scene. He just pulled out a pair of handcuffs. Duff says each victim was bound with them.

Duff says on the handcuffs there was all kinds of cleaning products, shampoo and vegetable oil.

While each victim was found dead in different bedrooms, Duff says there were reddish-brown stains in the master bath. He says he found those stains on the wall and the edge of the tub.

Duff says bottles of fabric softener and bleach were found open in the apt and they were emptied on the victims and floors.

Duff says in the kitchen he found a large silver knife, reddish-brown stains, hair and a wallet belonging to Dr. Lina Bolanos. Her license and credit cards were inside.

Pappas just pulled out a large black backpack and asks Duff about it. He says it was found on the floor by the penthouse door and was very heavy.

Defense attorney Steve Sack gets up to cross examine Duff.

Sack asks Duff how they process reddish-brown stains. He answers the stains were swabbed.

After Duff told the jury he recovered shell casings in the apt. Now Sack is asking about how many shell casings there were. Sack asks “7 in the apt? 4 in the lobby?” Duff answers “yes”

Sack asks more about bullet holes, spent bullets and bullet fragments. Teixeira was shot by police on May 5, 2017.

In the courtroom today are Dr. Richard Field’s brother Jason Field and Dr. Lina Bolanos’ godmother Amanda Gibbs.

Duff had testified that he had a handcuff key and that was used to uncuff the victims. Sack asks if you can track where handcuffs come from and how the locks work. Duff answers “police cuffs use a universal key”.

Duff steps down. Next witness is Detective Michael Walsh from @bostonpolice. He was part of the homicide unit on May 5, 2017.

Walsh was sent to @TuftsMedicalCtr where Bampumim Teixeira was transported. #7news

Walsh had no interaction with Teixeira on May 5, 2017. He says when he got to @TuftsMedicalCtr Teixeira had to go into surgery. Instead, he collected 2 bags of Teixeira’s belongings.

Walsh said in one of the bags there was $1,040 ... a black watch ... ear buds ... keys and a flash drive.

Teixeira talking and smiling to his attorney as prosecutor shows Walsh evidence bags of the belongings he took that night.

Prosecutor asks Walsh if there was anything strange about the clothes he collected. Walsh answers “there were some holes in them.”

Walsh says he also found a “Charlie ticket” in Teixeira’s belongings and had a transit detective run the tickets number.

Sack cross examines Walsh. Sack says the initial police report said Teixeira shot at officers but Walsh changed that on the report after learning Teixeira was shot at.

Sack says Teixeira was shot 3 times. In his left hand, abdomen and leg.

Sack is pulling out items inside Teixeira’s wallet that was taken into custody May 5, 2017. Inside is a St. Francis card. Sack asks if Walsh or anyone else on the squad ever went there to talk or question about Teixeira. He answers “not that I recall”.

Next up ... witness #21: Christine Adams. She is the head Conceirge at the building across from the doctor’s building. The 2 buildings are owned and run by the same company.

Adams says she works every other week at the doctor’s building.

Adams says when someone is hired as a Conceirge for her buildings they get a full tour of the building from 11th floor to garage and are given an employee handbook with info on the buildings exits and entrances.

Adams looks at job application. Pappas asks what it is ... she answers “JJ’s Teixeira’s” application. She says “JJ” was how Teixeira was introduced to her and what they called them.

Adams says Teixeira was in the training program in 2016.

Adams says Teixeira successfully completed the training program to become a Conceirge.

Adams says it’s an important part of the Conceirge job to know all residents and where they lived in the building.

Adams says each concierge had access to building keys.

Adams says Teixeira was hired for the 3-11pm shift and would check the entire building from top to bottom.

Adams says Teixeira worked at the building for 3 months. After he left, the prosecutor asks if she ever saw him at the building again and if she ever saw him with the doctors. She answers “no” to both.

Adams was working at the doctors building on May 5, 2017. She says she was on the 7-3pm shift and very busy, lots of workers in the building.

Adams says around 2:30pm, she moved her car out of the garage so another Conceirge could park there.

She let several contractors into the building that day including to the penthouse. She says she left before they checked out for the day.

Now defense attorney questions Adams. “As long as you know he (Teixeira) passed a background check?” Adams answers yes

“Nothing unusual about him?” asks Sack. Adams answers that there was nothing unusual about Teixeira.

Sack asks Adams when she moved her car if she noticed anything unusual outside. She answers “no”

Adams is done testifying. Now Corey Raji is taking the stand. He was a “runner” ... helped Conceirge during the shift so Conceirge didn’t have to leave front desk.

Raji had been working at the doctors building for 5 months when they were murdered.

That day, he moved his car into Chris Adam’s parking space. They all shared 2 spots

Raji says on that day he saw an individual try to come into the building, he couldn’t and he walked away.

After a brief lunch break, testimony resumes. Teixeira is talking a lot to his attorney and smiling. Raji is back on the stand.

Raji says the individual he saw in the back of the building appeared to be the same person he saw trying to get into the front of the building.

Now defense is cross examining Raji. Defense asks if he knew Dr. Field or Dr. Bolanos. He answers “just to say hi and bye”.

Defense asks if Raji did his daily check of the building on May 5th 2017. He says “yes between 7-7:30pm”. Defense asks if he went to the penthouse floor, he answers “yes”. “And you didn’t see anything?” asks attorney Sack. Raji said “I did not”.

Raji steps down and now Kathryne Hall is testifying. She is a criminalist at the #Boston crime lab.

Hall was called to the murder scene and then evidence was sent to her at the lab for analysis.

She arrived at the doctors condo just after midnight. She needed to stop at the crime lab to get some supplies

Hall examined 2 hats and 2 work boots.

Hall explains she tested stains on the items and they indicated the presence of blood.

Hall says she found a baseball hat and 2 workboots in the elevator lobby on the penthouse level.

Hall says she also found a 5 hr energy bottle, a tube of lubriderm and a yellow tshirt with 5 stains.
