Project Houston failed to determine what happened to the three men. Speaking in general terms, Lee suggested more should be done to intervene in these kinds of cases. “People don’t just wake up one day and start killing people. There’s usually a gradual process,” he said. “And serial killers are notoriously good at hiding pieces of themselves and their lives.
