MacInnis told reporters on Thursday that police are seeking more information about the accused man and wanted to make the public aware of the investigation.

"I can tell you at this point that the investigation is not over and we encourage anyone with information to please come forward," she said.
MacInnis said the man uses the online profiles of "AJ S," "AjSaad123," "asaad942" on social media applications Grindr, Snapchat and Kik.
She said the parents of the victim found out about the alleged assaults and reported the incidents to police.

After the alleged assault took place, MacInnis said the victim’s parents became aware of what took place and contacted police.

On Friday, March 24, police executed a search warrant on a residence in the area of Queen’s Quay West and York Street.

MacInnis declined to comment when asked if police believe there are other victims who have not come forward, only saying the "investigation is not over."

Police say a 42-year-old man is facing additional charges in connection with a child sexual abuse investigation after another alleged victim came forward.
According to police, in November 2015, a then-17-year-old boy met a man online and investigators allege the man coerced the teen to meet at his home.
When the teen arrived at the man’s home, police say the two engaged in sexual activity.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.

Saad was previously charged in March 2017 with two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual assault and luring a child under the age of 16.
Police say they are concerned there may be other victims and ask anyone with information about the case to call police at 416-808-8500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
