I've been engrossed in the below site. I've went through and pulled the following information on the identified assailants:

    Gender
    Age
    Race

    http://www.shootingtracker.com/wiki/Mass_Shootings_in_2015#cite_note-355

I've identified 88 assailants so far. And did some math. Here's how it adds up:

    MEN

    White Male Age 0 - 18 1 assailant roughly 1%
    White Male Age 19 - 30 17 assailants 19.3%
    White Male Age 31 - 40 10 assailants 11.3%
    White Male Age 41 - 50 6 assailants 6.8%
    White Male Age 51 - 60 4 assailants 4.5%
White Male Age 61+ 1 assailant roughly 1%

    Black Male Age 0 - 18 1 assailant roughly 1%
    Black Male Age 19 - 30 20 assailants 22.6%
    Black Male Age 31 - 40 12 assailants 13.6%
    Black Male Age 41 - 50 4 assailants 4.5%
    Black Male Age 61+ 1 roughly 1%

    Hispanic Male Age 19 - 30 1 assailant roughly 1%
    Hispanic Male Age 31 - 40 1 assailant roughly 1%

    Middle Eastern Male Age 19 - 30 2 assailants 2.2%
    Middle Eastern Male Age 41 - 50 1 assailant roughly 1%

    Asian Male Age 19 - 30 1 assailant roughly 1%

    Native American Male Age 21 - 30 1 assailant roughly 1%

    WOMEN

    White Female Age 31 - 40 2 assailants 2.2%

    Hispanic Female Age 31 - 40 1 assailant roughly 1%

    Middle Eastern Female Age 21 - 30 1 assailant roughly 1%

My goal is to research the mass shootings and attempt to keep adding to the table linked as information updates. I've found this very eye opening.

(This analysis is for shootings between January 2009 and July 2015)

    Analysis of Mass Shootings

Comprehensive analysis of every mass shooting between January 2009 and July 2015 that was identifiable through FBI data and media reports.

    Domestic or Family Violence

Whereas 15% of total gun homicide victims in the U.S. between 2008-12 were female, 50% of the victims of mass shootings in this analysis were female.

    Age

Perpetrators of mass shootings are generally older than perpetrators of gun violence in the U.S. as a whole.

Whereas the median age of known overall gun murderers in the U.S. is 26, the median age of perpetrators of mass shootings was 34.

    Mental Health

Of 133 examined incidents, in only one was there evidence the shooter was prohibited by federal law from possessing guns due to severe mental illness.

    Suicide

In 58 of the 133 incidents (44%), the shooter committed suicide during the incident.

    “Gun-free” Zones

All told, no more than 17 of the shootings (13%) took place entirely in public spaces that were so-called “gun-free" zones.

    The math of mass shootings

    814 victims
Each gun was used to kill an average of three people, not counting shooters. The 814 people came from nearly every imaginable race, religion and socioeconomic background, and 141 were children or teenagers.

    246 guns
Shooters brought an average of three weapons to each shooting; one carried seven guns. We don’t know how all the guns were acquired, but of the ones we know, 141 were obtained legally and 39 were obtained illegally.

    127 shooters
All but three of the mass shooters were male, the vast majority were age 20 to 49, and many showed previous signs of mental illness. More than half — 71 of them — died at or near the scene of the shooting, often by killing themselves.

    41 states and the District

A small percentage of total gun deaths
People killed in mass shootings make up less than half of 1 percent of the people shot to death in the United States. More than half of gun deaths every year are suicides. In 2015, more than 12,000 people have been killed by guns, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
