He usually stayed at his home in Brooklyn on Ocean Parkway. I met him once at the old 18th Pct, now Midtown North. Feds were watching the boys having a minor summit meeting in a famous midtown chinese restaurant. Called us to make vagrency arrests.

Gambion, Colombo, and Angelo Bruno, and some lesser lights. I was sent to the 18th to see what was going on. I knew Colombo. Joe introduced me to Gambino. Gambino, the gentleman he always was extended a limp hand to shake my hand. Of course he didn't get up from his chair while doing so.

Never forgot that because it was a time that was slipping away when there were rules.
 
My friend lived in mass. By him. Said when he PASSED AWAY (rare) it was like the president died on the block.

But, they have many a clustered dumping grounds and just last year a large operation was conducted, in LI, to recover more bodies dumped by the mob.

There is no reason to believe that someone within or on the fringe of the organization killed the victims and someone else or others was/were responsible for discarding of their remains. Many would have the public believe there is a SK yet every tie leads back to an "connected" link.

You're missing the point.

When an addict like ALC spends thousands of her dollars a month on her habit, that cash filters its way up to the crime organization that runs the drug ring her supplier gets his/her supply from. These girls WERE NOT $10 dope bag junkies.

The connection some of us are sleuthing involves legit businesses used as a front to distribute massive supplies of drugs and then launder the cash revenue from the sale of those drugs. the organization uses real estate & mortgage schemes to prey on desperate unsuspecting homeowners with financial problems and greedy naive mortgage companies to raise massive revenue. It has a vested interest in prostitution rings and adult night clubs up and down the east coast. There are indications that it has LE & former LE (and the family members of LE) on their payroll. Many of the legit businesses it has owned have required the importing of ingredients & wholesale products directly from Italy. The organization has some of the best attorneys money can buy including one lawyer who dedicated his career towards defending criminals after obtaining his degree in prison while serving for a murder conviction himself. They know how to move money around and make it all look legit. There are even indications that they have their hands into charitable organizations such as a home for wayward girls located by the Robert Moses Causeway only 15 minutes from Oak Beach. The center of operation for this organization is located in Massapequa only a few blocks away from two of the motels where one of our victim's cell phone last checked her voice mail the night she went missing and in the same vicinity of where one of the calls to a victim's younger sister originated. It is also within the same vicinity of where one of the victim's cell phones was turned on and "pinged" just one last time months after she had gone missing. This organization was discovered because a very good friend of "The Drifter" who lived at JB's home and wrote a book about it worked for one of the companies owned by this organization.

Anyone wanting something new to start sleuthing should try helping find some additional links between any of this organization's businesses, current/former employees & their real estate transactions to any person in NY, NJ, Florida, Maine, Connecticut, etc... who has any connection to any of the victims, their former employers, their former landlords, friends, family, etc... The easiest to sleuth are the real estate transactions because there is a huge paper/electronic trail to follow. One member has possibly located a connection between this organization and a former Florida employer of one of the victims. Another possible connection lies in a former landlord.

The Massapequa connection is significant.
 
I know how it works. What do u think would happen to an individual who was a member of the organization who was killing girls? Someone who brought down all kinds of international attention? If there is a connection to Italians, I think it's safe to say they solved the crime themselves. I don't know how other nationalities operate say some Eastern European organization. Italians wont stand for this kind of crime and more importantly the attention it brings.

This may account for the males who have been found beaten to death and others who were found missing or dead along the highways and bi-ways of the I-95 corridor. Ah and the low-level thugs who hold significant knowledge but choose not to say anything and or pretend like or go along with the theory that there is one SK. And, the many dead people found burnt to death in vehicles or trunks throughout LI and New England over the past two years.

If the Mafia is as widespread as you claim, then there is going to be some sort of link to them everywhere in the city. The statistical probability of finding one or more such links in areas associated with the gorls is going to be high as a result. That doesn't mean there is a connection however, if you want a connection you are going to need something more substantial than that.

Otherwise you could equally well claim that there was a connection to garbage collectors, on the basis that garbage collection was going on in all the known areas the girls frequented.

PS 149, I guess you won't mind my printing up this message and giving it to the only lawyer I know of that was convicted of murder and got a law degree and a license to practice.

What you should be really concerning yourself with is finding those persons that have been selling drugs, illegal card games, and other crimes for decades and have never been arrested. You should research their companies to find out which ones are doing business with various Suffolk County towns. That is where the drug money is being laundered.

When pros kill, they want the bodies not found. So they hide them well. For an SK, or at least the kinds that built clustered dump sites, there is a balance between hiding and the possibility to revisit. Different motivations to do what they do lead to different solutions to the problem.
 
Blame it all on the Mafia, You sound like a federal agent. Truth is the sex trade industry is run by an assortment of different criminals. There are those that hi-jack the girls from other countries. There are those that walk the streets and pick up the unfortunate. It is even easier with the Internet. All a pimp really has to do is to make a date with a gal and terrorize her into working for him.

I really first got a glimpse of the racket when a fellow I know made some arrests of some pimps that held a gal's children hostage. I believe the mother was just a European Immigrant that came to this country and met the wrong people.

She is given a chaperone to escort her on her dates. the pimp has her children and she can only see them when she comes up with the green. The female chaperone is there to keep her in line and not do anything foolish. She escapes and gets a lawyer to take her to the local NYPd precinct. She tells a cop her story. He doesn't make a big deal of it, but does try to give it to a specialized unit to handle the case forthwith. He is told they will give him a control number. Screw this, he is a supervisor and he rounds up the troops and goes to the apartment where the kids are being held. Kicks in the door and disarms two thugs. The kids are rescued. Finds a couple of computers with links to a place in Cortland Manor. Goes to the local DA to get warrants. About 50 ADAs are attending a baby shower for one of their gals. Tell him they are too busy. In the meantime the white slavers are running wild.

The cop has no standing to pursue the investigtion as he is a local officer. He accepts his role but goes away knowing he saved two children and their victim mother from the cluthches of these animals.

Most of these organization are run by blacks, hispanics, and Eastern European organizations.

The wise guys run the strip clubs and get their monies from the dancers sucking the blood from their customers. If they do drugs they keep it into importing, not street distribution. it is just too dangerous to go retail. Being a Pimp is not something any self respecting Mafia man want to be known as.

Tom Spota and the SCPD confines themselves to 'cleaning' up the Korean Massage parlor trade and allows the hundreds, if not thousands of prostitutes operating from Craigslist, BackPage, and other related media organizations go on their merry way with little or no law enforcement.

Maybe the new SCPD Chief of Department can come up with another of his new crime fighting initiatives and find a plan to end this abomination against humanity. I am quite certain he has a vast fountain of knowledge in this field as well as burglary and extortion.

The oldest trade is the oldest trade for good reason...it is not going to go away.

LE generally does not have the resources to stop prostitution, it is pointless in any case.

What they do is go after worst cases, those involving active coercion and such. The other thing they do is respond to local compaints.

That is why they will go after something like a massage parlour manned by illegals - it is something very obvious to the local community. Same thing with streetwalkers - the local population complains and LE acts. Escorts on the other hand are mostly minding their own business, conduct their activities outside of the public perception and mostly what they do is harmless. So LE mostly leaves them alone.

For LE to act there has to be two elements: (1) a complaint of some kind; and (2) evidence. With escorts they pretty much allways have neither.

As an ex-LE you, of course, know this perfectly well.

Yeah sure, risk getting Exonerated from the organization over dealing with the scum of the earth (pimps and the like) when you can open a classy gentlemens club and make WAY more money, operate legally, and have a way better class of people around. You don't have to worry about the group of Goldman Sachs guys coming down to the club and plan on spending $35k....all without using a gun. Plus you hand a couple bucks to your partners, stay in the good graces and live happily ever after. You can probably hang out at your own place and enjoy the $500 bottles of scotch and $100 cigars you are serving. Lifes only complicated when you make it complicated.
 
...just know this for a certainty, big business requires low-levels on the street to move their wares and often times to take the fall...be it in the drug trade, prostitution & escort services or multi-million dollar real-estate scams. Just like they need "straw buyers" for names to put on mortgages they need street-level people to distribute the drugs, mange the prostitutes and to keep the minions in line while doing so...

Of course, the big guys are far above this. Any successful business has layered tiers. The folks at the bottom will always be put in the most risky/dangerous positions. To the folks at the top, the folks at the bottom are just a dime a dozen and are often times viewed as expendable. To that extent trouble makers and loose cannons get cut loose.

AC is a good example of someone at the bottom who is left to fend for himself. He was a recruiter, a pimp, a drug dealer and from what has been uncovered...sometimes an enforcer. When he gets pinched, no high powered lawyer comes to his aid and it is best to let everyone think that he and folks like MP, AD, JT, KW, BB, and DS are just a few Brooklyn/Bronx/NYC thugs just trying to run their own game.
 
PS 149 You mentioned a home for wayward girls located by the RMC . There Is nothing that I know of there. Could you be more specific?
