Abdalla Ahmed, 17, was last seen around 2:10 a.m. Monday at the National 4-H Conference Center, located at 7100 Connecticut Ave.. He was staying at the center with a group of students from Iraq traveling around the U.S.

Ahmed as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and he was last seen wearing black jeans and flip-flops.

Missing Iraqi Foreign Exchange Student Located in Canada

At 5:08 a.m. Monday, a person representing himself as the missing teen, Abdalla Ahmed, commented on a Bethesda Beat article saying the FBI has been looking for him and that he was in fact in Canada.

“Who ever wrote this. I knew that fbi was looking for me and I’m in Canada now after 4 days on my way to Canada and I can give you detail and update just contact me on my gmail,” the post by “Abdalla” read.

Around the same time, another person commented, saying the teen had fallen in love.

UPDATE on 8/6/18: Abdalla Ahmed was located safe and unharmed on August 4 in Canada.
