I have friends who knew her and went to school with her. She and I were born the same year but went to different schools. I reached out to her family - certainly, clearly, I know their pain. Different, yet the same. I get it. I'm *happy* for them that they have closure - and hopeful that something similar - dredging of a lake, making a new road, hikers, someone confessing on their death bed - something similar with happen with Judy. She's out there. Somewhere. And at least one someone knows what happened.

Hi - I am replying to the person who posted 2 1/2 years ago! wow, time flies - Judy hung around Studio 54 in 79 & 80, the last time she was seen, alive, by her family was 11/30/1980, and she was definitely covered at the Reagan inaugural in January 1981. The footage is not available via the Reagan library (sta. Barbara) or via the Vanderbilt media collection. She loved to dance. She claimed to have been a regular at Studio 54. I'm her sister. I'm desperate for answers. I *know* that there is *someone* who has to know *something* about her disappearance. Even if you don't know her, maybe you have seen her ? She got tied up into some bad stuff -- I don't believe she is still among the living -- and I expect that at the moment she is known somewhere as "Jane." I'd like to give her back her name. Will you look through the pictures on the facebook page -- and if you recognize them - at all - even if it's just to know that she wasn't completely invisible - will you let me know? I appreciate it. there was recently a plea from the VA ME to help id cold cases. So, of course, I called. I've called on cold cases in VA, MD, DE, and up and down the east coast for years. I had never spoken with him before, but Judy's was a known case to him. That is reassuring.

I just read this touching thread from the beginning. Maureen, you really are amazing and I do believe that you will find the answers you are looking for.

Do you have a current list of rule-outs? I did not see one on the profile, (and did not take notes while reading earlier.) If I recall correctly, there were several that you had personally called about that were ruled out.

I am in the Southeast, so can't help on the streets of NYC, but will join in with the other invested sleuthers here to help out and see if I can dig anything up!

She has DNA in the system so you'd think they would have been compared, but...

Good possibility, but alas, this uid has been ruled out as a match for Judy.

Thinking about sitting, waiting in the train station for hours, for him to return. Thinking about the long car ride home to Oswego ... dark, dank, foggy through the mountains. Maureen, you are an angel. I've spent the morning reading through this thread and my heart goes out to you. Looking at photos of Judy I can feel her energetic glowing spirit, she is beautiful! I've joined your Facebook page today and I wish I could contribute more. I pray that one day someone will recognize her photo and provide the answers you've been waiting so long for. :rose: I will keep you and Judy in my thoughts.
