The camera angle is really confusing.
"Sandra's grandfather recently installed surveillance cameras on his mobile home after the tires on his truck were slashed, Chavez said - a rare crime for the area that the family has speculated might be retaliation for him trapping cats that trespass on his property and taking them to the pound.
The surveillance cameras have been helpful in showing Sandra on the property at about 4 p.m. Friday. A second camera, which faces the entrance to the park, does not show the girl leaving that way, Chavez said - which would have been unusual."

Here's Sandra's living situation:
"She attends Jacobson Elementary School and shares a mobile home with her mother, three older siblings and grandparents in a mobile home park full of friendly children."

"Mobile home park full of friendly children"? The article also states that her aunt says all the kids there play together. So why do the Slayters say she only had adults for friends??

From what has been reported they are older siblings. Here is a link (about half way down the page):

I live at the Orchard Estates and have replayed this video several times, I can tell you she is coming from the back of the club house, and is walking past where we wash our cars headed towards her home, where it looks like someone from just the right of her caught her attention and not someone down the street at a long distance.

In case anyone ask, no I don't know her. I'm sure I've seen her before, but we have many kids here, so to me she's just one of many. Now that the weather is getting better and we changed the clocks where we now have more daylight, I'm seeing many kids outside playing again.

As a resident here I want all of you to know that the Tracy Police and the FBI are doing everything they can. Tracy can be very proud of them. So please show them the support that they truly do deserve.
this was from the comments section of this... thought it would help with positioning...

she is walking AWAY from our only entrance. I'm sure the police have checked this out but across the street from where she lives, maybe two homes over they have been working and painting on one of the homes for about a month now, and have many workers there. But again I'm sure they have been checked out.

My place has been searched twice, like everyone else here. And we have a Police car at our entrance to keep the media away. When I left the park yesterday the FBI was stopping and checking our ID, looking in our cars, and trunks. The odd thing today is there no media trucks across the street for the first time since this started.
another comment that was interesting from this

The exit is a wall. With homes in front of the wall. Where she lives there are about six homes down the road in the direction she is looking towards. The wall has a line of about 12 to 15 homes.

If she was walking towards the entrance/exit you would have seen our mail boxes which would be just to the left where we wash our cars and where you first see her. She is headed for the back of the park with no exit of any kind.

She is coming out of a small parking spot, which can hold only three cars, as you can see her running between two cars. The two walls to her left are where we wash our cars.

If you were to stand in front of our only way in & out you would see the two story club house with a pool in front. If you then looked to your left you would see the street in which she lives on, and her home is on the left side of that street.

from the comments... and very informative from a resident of the park http://tracypress.com/content/view/17727/2268/

some quotes from yesterday's presser
Quote:
"We'll be working through the night on a couple of other things I can't talk about at the moment," he said. "We're still looking at a lot of people."
With no new search warrants, no arrests and no named "persons of interest," Sheneman said it may appear as though nothing is happening. In fact, he said, "In the last four days, we've had some of the best leads."
Quote:

Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman, speaking at today's press conference at City Hall, said that doesn't mean the investigation into 8-year-old Sandra's disappearance has died down.

<snip>
Tracy police say they still do not have a person of interest in the disappearance of Sandra Cantu. They did say they have received some promising tips within the last four days.
<snip>
On Sunday police said they have expanded their investigation outside of the Tracy city limits, but declined to elaborate other than saying their investigation is stronger now than it has been.

This is great news. 1 minute the news artcles state that the search is scaled back...then 5 seconds later...I see this. So confusing sometimes.

more evidence was collected yesterday from neighbor's home
Quote:
On Sunday, Tracy police returned to a neighbor's home where a search warrant was served Friday.

The disabled adult who lives there with his parents let authorities inside the home. Several minutes later, they left carrying a brown bag.

Good Morning Everyone!
Forgive me if this has been posted already, but I didn't see it.

This morning I saw on the local news...I don't live far from Tracy....
That they were entering unit #43 again.
Anyone else see that?
Worth Watching!

just for reference... the Tracy article on Slayter

Quote:
The Tracy man lives with his wife, Debra Slayter, and a son
Quote:
Slayter’s name also comes up in an Internet search with an inactive Web site called www.moneymansvault.com, which indicates he lives at 812 W. Clover Road, No. 43, in Tracy.
Quote:
Slayter was identified through a newspaper photograph that shows him and his wife, Debra, in front of their home, and another photo of the couple at a candlelight vigil.
