(CBS) LAKE MARY, Fla. - Police say they were called to a home in Lake Mary, Fla. owned by George Zimmerman's in-laws on a report of a theft Thursday, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

The station reports police received a call from Machelle Dean, George Zimmerman's mother-in-law, claiming hundreds of dollars in items were missing from a home she and her husband own and that the home was damaged.

"There was some damage to the house. Who committed that damage, I don't know. Was it there before hand, I don't know," Lake Mary police officer Zach Hudson said. "We're trying to figure out exactly what we have here."........more......

Stand Your Ground revisions win early approval

TALLAHASSEE -- A Senate panel took the first step toward amending the Stand Your Ground self-defense law on Tuesday, approving a bill that would revamp neighborhood watch programs.

The proposal, sponsored by Sens. David Simmons, R-Altamonte Springs, and Chris Smith, D-Fort Lauderdale, won bipartisan support on the Senate Judiciary Committee. It also received nods from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Florida Sheriffs Association, the state public defenders association and the NAACP.......

The bill considered Tuesday — a combination of two separate proposals by Simmons and Smith — would require guidelines and training protocol for neighborhood watch programs.

Sanford Police Revamp Neighborhood Watch

Seminole deputies arrest George Zimmerman

George Zimmerman has been arrested and is en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.

It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.

Since she's pregnant, we're told the domestic violence charge is automatically listed as a felony. The Seminole County Sheriff's website says Zimmerman is not eligible for bail.

"2:14 PM PT According to the Seminole County Sheriff, the woman was not pregnant ... but we're told she told the 911 dispatcher she was. The Sheriff says the woman claims Zimmerman pointed a DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN at her, pushed her out of the house. He then allegedly barricaded the front door with furniture.

Zimmerman is currently in solitary for his protection and he's being checked on every hour."
