Here are a couple of links related to the story that I mentioned. The young man's name was Ja'Len Deandre Lindsey. He was a 19 year old, recent high school graduate. It was a truly heartbreaking loss and I can't figure out why this case hasn't gone anywhere.

The latest update to the case has been a Crime Stoppers short that I've only seen played on-air a hand full of times and, for some reason, I haven't been able to find a link to it. It has been said since the beginning that some of the friends were giving information to police. There were over 100 potential witnesses at the party that night. Someone knows something. I honestly have no idea where to start with something like this, but I am really interested in learning the ropes. My uncle was a detective for 25 years and I always admired him for that. He truly cared about each and every case that he was involved with. I'd like to thank anyone who is willing to give me a few pointers or just kind of lead me in a direction to get started.


P.S. Does anyone get nervous when they start sleuthing? :\

Started the thread, hope it gets some traction!
Many might get a bit nervous 'sleuthing'' but as long as you stick to what is posted in main stream news, you will be fine!
Just remember if you do have a comment/opinion, just make sure that it is included in your post ie add something like imo, moo, (In my opinion, my own opinion) because it separates known facts from theories.

TashaG, do you have any additional information you can share about your missing friend, Ronald Henry?

He was last seen on a farm in rural grant county in wisconsin, he simple just vanished im attaching a Facebook link of some of the coverage there is also a Facebook group called Find Ronald Henry !! I’m suspecting foul play.. there have been a lot of rumors of drug activity on that farm that also serves as some sort of group home for young men… there’s also rumors of a cover up like he may have overdosed and they panicked and did something to his body.. the different stories don’t really make any sense . He has a young son whom he would never just ghost like this

I had the honor of meeting this young man in 2014. He dated my daughter briefly. He was a good kid. Broke my heart to learn he was gone. Im still checking from time to time for any updates to his case, I cant hardly believe that nobody saw anything. Somewhere along the line, the truth will surface. The news said there were several people who were armed and making threats, if thats the case, somebody will eventually come forward. There are no secrets kept when more than one person knows the secret. i hope for his familys sake that happens soon. I cant even imagine the pain his mother and family is in. I keep them in my thoughts and prayers. REST IN PEACE JALEN, YOUR MEMORY LIVES ON.

Love the respect given to the victims and fellow posters also the strict rules against rumors etc. One case that hit close to home for me that I have been following since the start is the Crystal Roger's case out of Bardstown, KY. I lived just down the BG in Versailles when she disappeared and this case has broken my heart for her family ever since then. Hopefully they get justice soon for not only Crystal, but her father as well.
