For anyone who has been reading up about Syrian refugees in Europe and thinking, 'I'd have problems in that situation because I'd never leave my dog behind'....meet someone who overcame those problems.
17-year-old Aslan even managed to get his pup's passport and paperwork in order, before making the 300-mile trek to safety in Greece. His dog's called Rose and he's carried her most of the way in a basket. 'I love my dog,' he said simply. He never considered leaving her behind.
I'm hoping and praying this refugee teen and his young pup find a nice home where both are welcome.
Sweet video at link.
