A 97-year-old Ohio woman, Hellen Minley, has been found dead in the refrigerator of her home in the Mexico resort town of Playas de Rosarito.

'The two-door refrigerator was tied shut with a towel. The woman's body showed signs of violence, said Jesus Antonio Chavez Hoyos, a deputy prosecutor in Tijuana...'

Hellen had hired a couple as carers. They haven't been found.

Is there a Cuyahonga in Ohio? I thought it was in NY.

ETA: Yes, there is. It's Cuyahoga though. Just wondering where in Ohio Hellen might be from, and if she lived alone in Mexico. It sounds like it.

So, it seems like the housekeeper found blood in the home and informed police, but the couple who actually lived-in as carers, have disappeared. Hellen's body bore several signs of violence, as well as the refrigerator being tied from the outside, of course...

If this is the house, it looks as there is construction work going on? Maybe on the house, maybe on the road outside?

Is that a child's toy vehicle on the grit piles outside the home?

Poor old dear....I hope against hope that she wasn't murdered, but rather, died in some horrible falling accident, instantly, and her caretakers found her, panicked, and put her in the fridge (so she could be properly taken care of later), and fled.

    I know. I'm a dreamer.
