On the four-month anniversary of Jessica Heeringa's abduction from a Norton Shores gas station, police say they are still looking for her.
Heeringa vanished from the Sternberg Road Exxon Mobil where she was working sometime after 10:51 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Around 11:07 p.m., a regular gas station customer arrived and soon noticed the clerk was absent. After looking for her and finding no one, he called 911 and an officer was on the scene in minutes.
But there was no sign of Heeringa, who has a three-year-old son.

Police said there was no indication of a robbery, as Heeringa’s purse, vehicle and other items were left behind at the scene. DNA testing showed a small amount of blood found outside the gas station belonged to Heeringa.

Jessica’s purse and money were left behind, and police found drops of her blood behind the gas station where police believe she was abducted.
