Thomas told people that Wadel saw things his (Thomas') way -- the inference being that the judge was adverse to "no body" cases, says AG.
Judge Wadel is back on the bench. He says he doesn't agree with statements allegdly made by Retired judge Thomas.
"These comments trouble me in that they are attributed to me,," Wadel said.
Wadel said he did not talk to Thomas about the case. and if he had, he would have recused himself.
Wadel said he hasn't seen Thomas since his retirement party in 2014 before Thursday.
Wadel said he brought John Smietanka on the Courtier case which Judge Thomas dismissed.
Wadel said he only talked with Thomas about his health.
Wadel said he did not know about anything Thomas said outside the judge chambers.
Judge says the courts have affirmed his remaining on the case.
Judge says the AG waited until after 3-1/2 days of testimony to ask again for a disqualification when court rules ask for speedy request.
