Police are searching for a missing Washtenaw County man who may be in danger.

Matthew Urban, 26, dropped off a relative about 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6th in the 2000 block of Washtenaw Avenue in Ypsilanti and didn't return home, according to a news release from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.

Urban hasn't been seen at his workplace and has made no use of his phone, social media or financial accounts, police say.

He is described as a 5-foot-9 white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing brown cargo pants, brown hiking boots, a green parka and carrying a gray/black nylon messenger bag, police say.

Urban was last seen driving a silver 2012 Dodge Caravan. The Michigan license plate reads: BHM459.

Urban's vehicle was found in the parking lot of the Washtenaw Community College's Health and Fitness Center. Police searched the walking path and surrounding area, but did not locate Urban.

Urban also hasn't been seen at his workplace and has made no use of his phone, social media or financial accounts since Tuesday.

There have been no signs of foul play. Urban's been known to walk the paths in the area, but has not gone missing before.

This is very nearby my home. I hope he is found safe. I had one thought... I wonder what made his van stand out to those that reported it missing? Did they see the flier, was it damaged, parked after hours? Just curious, I guess.

Man missing from Ypsilanti Township found dead in Ann Arbor Township

A man who has been missing since Tuesday was found dead Saturday in Ann Arbor Township, authorities said.

Two people walking in the Botanical Gardens off of Dixboro Road just after 4 p.m. Saturday found what appeared to be a body partially submerged in the water, authorities said.

Authorities recovered the body and determined it was Urban. There did not appear to be evidence of foul play, authorities said.

*sigh* Another person found in the river, alluding to suicide.
