I suppose Kwame will be in court sometime this week. He has truly erred in not making the original payments. It appears he has angered the judge with all of his actions/lying. Why he was so foolish to flaunt his wealth is a no brainer. Many think he has the ability to pay but would have to reveal where the money came from. He and his father are also part of a federal investigation.

He has become a complete embarrassment for the City of Detroit. His future was bright and he just threw it away.

This Kwame debacle continues to cost the city of Detroit millions. Why can't they just throw him in jail instead of continually bringing him into court and hearing them same old story!

The Detroit News has an interesting article written by Paul Egan about the release of 911 transcripts around the time of TG's murder. www.detnews.com
Things seem to be moving pretty fast on this case now.

Two former Detroit police officers -- a dispatcher and a homicide detective -- said in sworn affidavits that police officials tried to cover up investigations into a long-rumored wild party at the mayoral Manoogian Mansion and the slaying of dancer Tamara Greene.

The affidavits were filed Saturday in a federal lawsuit brought by Greene's family. Greene, who purportedly danced at the party, died in an April 2003 drive-by shooting.

The two former cops are the latest in a line of witnesses produced by Birmingham attorney Norman Yatooma, who represents Greene's family in a lawsuit against the city and police officials.

From January 2014:

More than 10 years after the death of his mother Tamara Greene, son Johnathan Bond is renewing calls for police to reopen the investigation into the unsolved murder...

Bond told WDIV that he hoped people would come forward and shed light on the investigation now that Kilpatrick is behind bars and the family no longer has a political grip on the city.

He said he hopes the new police chief, James Craig, will take a look into the murder.

More than a decade later, one of the central figures in the downfall of Kilpatrick, exotic dancer Tamara Greene, is the focus of a stage play written and produced by Carol Teegardin, a former reporter and columnist for the Detroit News and Free Press.

The play, entitled "Strawberry," is adapted from Teegardin's book on the life and death of Greene, who was murdered in a drive by shooting on April 30, 2003.

The play will be staged at the Marygrove College Theatre on Sept. 25, 26, 27 and Oct. 2, 3, and 4. Auditions will he held in July.

Detroit woman Tamara Greene's murder unsolved after more than 15 years

Tamara Greene killed in drive-by shooting

DETROIT
- The murder of an exotic dancer in Detroit back in 2003 remains unsolved.

Tamara Greene, 27, was a mother of three who went by the stage name "Strawberry."

Family members said Greene was pulling her car up to a curb at Roselawn Street and West Outer Drive to drop off her boyfriend when an unidentified man in a white Chevrolet Blazer pulled around the corner and began shooting at the car...
