The search continues for a Grass Lake women missing since November of 2010.

JACKSON, MI -- A candlelight vigil for Tonia Renee Stiles of Grass Lake will be held Friday to mark the 18-month anniversary of her disappearance on Nov. 18, 2010.

Family gathers to remember woman 7 years after her unsolved disappearance

There is no word on the Michigan State Police investigation, quiet for years. The search parties and helicopter flyovers, once ambitious and frequent, have long ceased. "The only thing we've heard in the last seven years is speculation," said Megan Sanford, a friend and former classmate at Hanover-Horton schools.

Tonia Stiles is now on the Doe Network!

Tonia Stiles was last seen at her residence she shared with her boyfriend on the morning of November 18, 2010. She did not contact any family or friends, and does not own a cell phone or a vehicle. Tonia's boyfriend was arrested for auto theft on November 24, 2010, and committed suicide while still in jail on December 3, 2010. The boyfriend was interviewed about Tonia's disappearance, and denied any involvement but was considered a person of interest in Tonia's disappearance. Police are continuing to investigate if the boyfriend had any involvement with Tonia's disappearance, as he was one of the last people to see her and the one to have reported her missing.
