Defense is asking mom about Venus' sister, Tiffany, not having contact with her children while they were staying with Venus' mom.

Prosecution is following up to show that the parents at least knew where she was.

Why did you convince Tiffany to leave the children with you.
Mrs. McComb is describing Tiffany's horrible home. Wasn't working. She didn't approve of how she was raising her kids.
Did not have the same concerns with Venus.

She knew where Tiffany was because she looked on the internet.
Once in a while the court would send something saying where she lived.

Venus had no car or truck to drive at the time of disappearance.
Venus owned a vehicle in VA. She did not bring any vehicles with her when she moved.
Grey/Silver Dodge Truck and Silver Mercury Sable

Venus used parent's vehicles while living there.
Larry's truck was there at the time.

It is now in Chicago at his job.
Been there since about 3-4 months ago since he started his new job.
It's the Grey F=150

Her white F-150 is at their home and has been since April.

She remembers kissing Venus goodbye before she left for work.

She helped Larry do yardwork the day before Venus disappeared.


Venus had other friends in April 2010 other than her mother.
