Please continue posting here:
The fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager Saturday by a police officer in a St. Louis suburb came after a struggle for the officer’s gun, police officials said Sunday, in an explanation that met with outrage and skepticism in the largely African-American community. The killing of the youth, Michael Brown, 18, ignited protests on Saturday and Sunday in Ferguson, Mo., a working-class suburb of about 20,000 residents. Hundreds of people gathered at the scene of the shooting to question the police and to light candles for Mr. Brown, who was planning to begin college classes on Monday.
Mr. Brown’s stepfather, Louis Head, held a cardboard sign that said, “Ferguson police just executed my unarmed son.”
A couple of things:
1) We are not going to allow links to blogs in this case without prior approval. And approvals will be tough to get.
2) Posts directed at other posters rather than the case will earn a TO without explanation. If you have a problem with another member, use the alert feature and scroll on by OR use the ignore feature and keep it to yourself
Sorry...couldn't help it and need to mark my spot.

Pic of cap circled next to SUV is at link I posted a bit ago. Is that what was being looked for?
What's fueling much of the anger. I believe it is the 'misinformation' that is being put out on various social media. I clicked on the link to a pic of his body: http://theobamacrat.com/2014/08/09/...m-ten-times-for-shoplifting-candy/mike-brown/
and this is what they said about the shooting:
Ferguson police gunned down 17 year old Michael Brown as he and a friend walked down the street. A witness stated police pulled up to the two boys and said “Get the **** on the sidewalk”. According to a witness police grabbed the kid around the neck and repeatedly shot the unarmed kid
It's a possibility the police officer who shot and killed unarmed black teenager Michael Brown earlier this month may not ultimately face charges stemming from the incident, Gov. Jay Nixon, D-Mo., acknowledged Sunday.

I was just trying to get my bearings on the scene. So I grabbed screen shots from the front and back of OW vehicle. Then I realized that LE kept adding cars closer and closer so now I don't think it helped. :dunno: but to answer LOVEJAC the hat was beside OW vehicle as if it fell when MB started to run FROM OW. Imo he thought he had knocked him unconscious.
Maybe there is a reason he upheld the Grand Jury Decisions. They saw the evidence and didn't indict the officers. Maybe it was the right decision.
His Dad was killed about 50 yrs ago. I think he is able to do his job in a proper fashion now. Otherwise you are saying he could never be allowed to become a prosecutor. Are all of his cases involving black defendants going to be null and void?
It is interesting that you are saying that you will be upset if there is no indictment. I thought you said you had no theory yet because you don't have the facts. Sounds like you must have some kind of theory, right?
I said I had no theory specifically about the interaction in the police vehicle. I do have an opinion that the shooting of MB was tragic and unjustified.
Bob Mcculloch is a good Prosecutor. Here's his bio: http://www.stlouiscopa.com/Extras.aspx?ID=191
Usually the Prosecuting Attorney hands the case over to an Assistant Prosecutor.
Read at the above link to find out more about the St. Louis County grand jury procedure.
But if you don't know what happened in/at the car, seconds before the shooting, then how can you determine that the shooting was unjustified?
How old is OW? I've seen 28. Correct? tia
I just watched a news report that gave his age as 28, yes.
I said it was my OPINION. I have come to my conclusion based on the evidence I currently know.
From NYT 08/24, "Michael Brown Spent Last Weeks Grappling With Problems and Promise"
"It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. Mr. Brown was a prankster, so his father and stepmother chuckled at first."
".... sent his father and stepmother a picture of the sky from his cellphone. “Now I believe,” he told them....."
"...., they detected a change in him as he spoke seriously about religion and the Bible. He was grappling with life’s mysteries."
".... He occasionally smoked marijuana and drank alcohol, according to friends. But for his music he adopted a persona to appeal to hip-hop fans, said his cousin, Bryan Douglas, a music producer who was going to help Mr. Brown pursue his music career...."
Just curious ---
1.---since IDK how to drill into any of MB's soc media,
what was MB posting on FB, Instagram, about his serious religious beliefs and change, etc.
How, if at all, does that correlate to or support his father's stmts about MB's stmts to father, this past summer?
Did MB post about his serious religious beliefs this past summer on soc media ?
2. --- since IDK much about teens aspiring to hip-hop music careers,
would they normally be students in vo-tech programs like Vatterott College (which failed to verify his enrollment), to learn -
--- welding (as trumpeted in first MSM articles, or
--- HVAC (in later articles).
Trying to make sense of this.
So for this who were wondering how I knew MB was killed at a distance: "an autopsy report found no gunpowder on Browns body, suggesting he was killed at a distance."
It does not say the precise distance but it WAS at a distance.
Sure, why not? The music industry is notoriously hard to break into. Most musicians/DJs have day jobs. HVAC and welding pay well, and you can graduate and start making money fast. My brother produces hip hop and other music, and he has a day job.
I am waiting for Mary Case the ME for STL to give her report. She has the full autopsy with the clothing which is something that was missing from the 2nd autopsy and I thought they could NOT determine the distance because GSR may have been on the clothing that they didn't have.
Also, ballistics need to be done as well as trace evidence.
This may not even go to trial.
